You can reset your suggested content. I had to do it because all of a sudden I was getting suggested Indian content. Every over video was a low quality video with someone speaking Hindi and it had like 4 views. I'm not Indian, nor had I even watched any content from India. I started blocking accounts, changed my suggestions. I looked up how to reset and it was amazing. That may be what you're experiencing, except it's conservative slop.

I didn’t hate the movie, but I also went in expecting a dumb comedy movie to begin with. I only ended up watching it when I was a kid because of Eddie Griffin after having watched New Guy & Undercover Brother in that tween/early teen phase where that type of dumb comedy was actually entertaining. That said it definitely is his best movie where he plays a prominent role. Otherwise I would pick Home Alone 2

There’s really not much lore. Schneider post SNL was always largely an Adam Sandler charity case. Majority of his movies were Happy Madison productions and basically amounted to Sandler throwing him a bone. His career stalled years ago so he did what many washed up comedians and actors have done. Hopped on the MAGA train. Jim Breuer, Adam Carolla. Roseanne, Schneider, etc. They all end up seeking refuge with right wingers because that crowd will accept anyone and having talent of any sort isn't required. As of last fall when Sandler went on tour, Rob Schneider opened for him with 20 mins of the hackiest MAGA material I’ve ever seen. Sandler’s stuff wasn’t political at all, but Schneider opening made it harder to enjoy. Couldn’t tell if Sandler is just unconditionally there for his buddies or if it was a reflection of his unspoken beliefs.

It's very easy to say that when you have had no connection to the military or military members that have suffered due to deployments.  I am very liberal and served in the military. I learned very early people turn off empathy towards veterans and those injured during war. They use the military as an idea when it serves their purpose. I read a Hemingway book In Our Time and similar themes were there in the 1940s. We need the military and yet don't really appreciate their sacrifices because it makes us feel uncomfortable.  I hope no one gets drafted. What a horrible thing
