I ain’t gonna lie, I didn’t know it was 2 different people until like 40 minutes into the movie. Then it took me another hour to realize it was only 2 people and not more cause they kept using multiple names to address the characters.

I love this scene so much. They send those moves SO HARD. Full commitment to the motion, impeccably rehearsed (they are so in sync), it's just superb.

Excellent movie! I usually don't enjoy movies with song and dance, but this movie won me over right away

Upvote ratio is at 41.6%  I like to share clips from the movies I personally love, thus decided to share this clip from RRR today here, hoping to show users the kind of films they make back at home.  I understand it's a bit different tone from what people usually prefer here, so I don't really mind the downvotes haha.

Well I appreciate it so thank you for posting. Made me smile and I really enjoyed this movie when it came out. I’ve been very happy that my local cinemas have started showing more foreign films, and especially ones like this.

There's a reason this won an Oscar for best song. But the question is: why is this in like 360p?

Gotta have no less than three dance numbers in every Bollywood movie, huh?

GirlisNo1 Mar 31, 2026 +5
This is not Bollywood

And there are only two dance numbers, this one and the end credits one.

This is not a Bollywood movie. Maybe lighten up a bit and enjoy it, it's phenomenal, and the song and dance scenes drive the story, as do the action scenes. Broaden your horizons.

Uhh this is not a Bollywood movie.  India is a diverse country, every region has isn't own film industry which specializes in a specific way of Film Making.  RRR is a Tollywood film. It is the Telugu film Industry and focuses on Big budget Grand entertainment films.

That animal attack scene is like the Bollywood version of the Avengers Endgame portals scene.

No not Naatu! There are two translations of the movie. Naatu and Naacho. Im so happy I saw the one with naacho first. The naatu feels alien and not as catchy! I love the version with Naacho. I laughed so hard when they sang about Naachos! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=sAzlWScHTc4&pp=ygUOcnJyIG5hY2hvIHNvbmc%3D

Yes Naatu is the original Telugu version, Naacho is the Hindi one. If you're used to Naacho, Naatu might sound weird haha.
