The lying is infectious. I have no reason to believe Rubio over Zelenskyy. None. Rubio isn’t the “mature” statesman people would like to pretend. He is enabling madness.

> I have no reason to believe Rubio over Zelenskyy. The list of people one wouldn't believe over anyone in the current Trump administration is a very short list.

This whole administration is diplomatic kryptonite at this point. Unless their end goal is either to end the US or total world annihilation (as the evangelicals who whispers in his ears wants) none of their moves makes any rational sense.

The US only suggested it like 20 times during their negotiations..

Isnt it bad when you trust foreign govts over your own? Why so much blatant lying?

It's called the Mariupol plan, and Trump has been promising it to Putin since 2016. Ask Manafort.

Rubio is lying

The US openly suggested as much. The leaked agreements to include the one that was written by Russia, given to Witkoff and then Witkoff told Ukraine that's what the US wanted also included ceding land to Russia. Rubio just because MAGA doesn't know how to read doesn't mean the rest of America can't.

The fascists can just lie as much as they want, and Americans will happily elect them again. The 2024 election clearly showed that.

One of them is lying and one is telling the truth. Let me see, who do I believe? Oh yeah, no question, RUBIO IS LYING.

8bit_heart Mar 27, 2026 +4
Isn’t this what Trump himself has basically pushed Zelenskyy to do repeatedly to end the war by just giving Putin everything he wants? So Rubio is clearly lying.

Welp, I know who I'm gonna believe.

Wonder what makes Sec. Rubio think he's got a handle on what Mr. Kusher and Mr. Witcoff - or others - are doing?

This administration has lost all credibility

You can deny it, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. That's the trouble with having to cover for a guy who lies 100% of the time.

Zelensky: Hey, it's not that bad. They may have offered shitty terms, but at least they have some merit (winks at the Americans, as if to honor old friendship, he'll cover up how they screwed up).  Meanwhile, Rubio: No, Zelensky is lying, we screwed up worse than Zelensky said.
