We keep getting mixed messages. They are trying to be reassuring but they just sound like they don't know what they are doing.
We know you bombed almost everything worth bombing.
But you haven't secured the nuclear material, you haven't secured the straight, and you haven't done a regime change.
Those things can only be accomplished by a massive ground invasion or by negotiation and Trump and Iran seem very far apart on the negotiations.
Trump sounds like he is close to just walking away from this war but the USA has a ton of assets and allies who could continue to be bombed by Iran.
And even if Iran does agree to a ceasefire they still seem to want to charge a toll for using the Strait of Hormuz which is going to make a lot of people upset.
And Trump and Israel already bombed Iran last year, it didn't solve anything.
Iran is making 140 million dollars per day selling oil right at this very moment, while at war. Iran will use that money to rebuild it's weapon stockpile and restart their nuclear program.
Are USA and Israel going to bomb Iran again next year?
I'm getting major Mission Accomplished vibes. Trump hasn't accomplished anything of lasting value and this isn't really over even if there is a pause in the bombing, which is hardly guarenteed.
