Hi All - Just a reminder that we do not allow the wishing of or celebration of death. It ends up flooding the sub with pretty meaningless conversation. Instead, we encourage you to discuss the man's actions and impact on the world. **This is a sitewide rule that we must enforce.**

Patton Oswalt tweeted that day:
"This is not over. For we shall mount our righteous stand at Four Seasons Total Landscaping. Next to Fantasy Island Adult Books. Across the street from the Delaware Valley Cremation Center. Between the fire extinguisher and yellow hose. #MAGA"
I have it printed and framed in my office and still laugh every time I look at it.

I don't think anything can be funnier. It effectively established an upper limit of how funny something can be because everything about it, from Trump first tweeting it would be at the hotel, to Rudy's sweaty face screaming "oh, THE MEDIA" was so goddamn hilarious that nothing written can even come close. It will always be peak.

AND ALL THE BEHIND THE SCENES SHIT THAT MUST HAVE HAPPENED!!!! Someone went "call the four seasons" so some intern or someone googled "four seasons" and didn't check closely. Then the mad f****** scramble to fix that. Then his tweet like "update, it'll be at four seasons lawn" like holy f*** the sheer comedy of errors that had to have happened. Only a handful of cancers have ever won, and most of those had help. Henrietta Lacks' cancer is one example.
Tasmanian devil facial tumor disease is probably the most successful cancer, having won over a vast multitude of its hosts.
EDIT: Actually, on second thought, canine transmissible venereal tumor probably wins just on the basis of the time it's had to fight. Devil facial tumors are more deadly than canine transmissible venereal tumors, but so many dogs will have gotten the venereal tumors over its ~6000 years of existence that it's likely no contest.

Basically it would seem he cried "I'm just an old man you can't take everything, where will I live" and it would seem that as a good person she basically settled and was happy with whatever the settlement was that meant he could still keep his properties.
Piece of shit tried to ruin the life of a normal everyday person for his own gain and grandstanding. Ended up with death threats against her and her family And she ***STILL*** let him walk without ruining him. If there's a heaven, there's absolutely a spot reserved for her in it.

I think you're misremembering. The whole idea (as presented in the movie - I obviously don't know how much was presented as such in real life) is that she was a teenage reporter doing the interview for what's basically a high school newspaper. Like, I guess if you want to be REALLY generous there's some legal wiggle room for him to claim "oh I thought she was 18 cuz there are 18 year old high schoolers," but it was definitely not just a random journalist.

He was a 9/11 joke also. He immediately tried to use 9/11 as a reason to extend his term. Trump also thanked him back then for allowing the Trump tower to be the "tallest in manhattan", which it never was and Giuliani never refuted the statement.

I actually forgot about that. You are correct. I’m also recalling the blame he took for putting city headquarters in the WTC

Everyone thinks of him as some sort of hero, nobody talks about the fact that he denied first responders the necessary funding to upgrade their communications systems after the first attack on the WTC years earlier.
The fire department was unable to communicate with their personnel within the WTC due to the construction of the building, and asked for an upgrade to the system so they'd be better prepared if they had a similar situation in the future.
Giuliani said they didn't need it, and hundreds of first responders needlessly died on 9/11 because of it.

That is ridiculous. He was always a fraud. In the days after 9/11 , he was as much a fraud as any other time, probably more so. But the morons and the news media who made him out to be something he wasn't.

He is best remembered for his role in Borat, The Four Seasons under an adult book store, and his villanesque running hair dye. May his slumber be .... infinite and disturbed.

And that time he farted while mic’ed and on camera. That’s what I think of whenever he is mentioned first, then four seasons. Then the hair dye.

Ok, so as bad as he is, she was never stated as a child to him in that movie, and everyone is remembering that part wrong.
She was a journalist interviewing him, and that's what he was told. He had no reason to think she was underage. The actress is an adult, and the only time that it's mentioned to Guiliani that she's young is when Borat busts in and says "she's too old for you".
He's a miserable POS, but we no reason to believe he's into kids. Our president, however...

If he does, I hope it's United Healthcare and that his plan has plenty of prior authorizations for what he needs. Gotta make sure each Q-Tip and each nitrile glove is medically necessary.

Man I remember when racist cops would harass us and yell out it’s Giuliani Time mother fuckers. His stop and frisk policy was vile. I always wondered why all the neighborhoods were flooded with police but Russian gangs were left alone to commit crimes. Now it all makes sense. Also love the fact I get to see him fail again and again.
I wish you a long life of shame and obscurity Rudy.

He was a vile human that lied to the American people for the promise of a quick payday that never came. His legacy was propped up by the RICO case against the Italian Mob and just being the mayor on 9/11. He made policy decisions leading up the 9/11 that many in the public safety sphere disagreed with including putting infrastructure used in a major incident response in the WTC.
Edit: He also fucked his cousin.

But I will tell anyone around me how much of a piece of shit Rudy actually was. The world was worst because of his life and what he did with it. And there's a special place in Hell and in my memory for people like him.

>President Trump, in a post on Truth Social, called Mr. Giuliani a “True Warrior, and the Best Mayor in the History of New York City, BY FAR.”
>He used the occasion to again advance his false claim that Democrats “cheated” in the 2020 election.
>“They cheated on the Elections, fabricated hundreds of stories, did anything possible to destroy our Nation, and now, look at Rudy. So sad!” he said.
I'm absolutely shocked that this man would use such an occasion to talk about himself.
