I just watched the Running Man Movie with Glen Powell. overall I thought it was a great flick. I just had one main concern/question. After Richards seemingly survived the airplane explosion, why didn't Dan Killian just go and kill Richard's wife and kid? I would imagine they would be pretty darn easy to find. Especially after Richards pretty much spat in his face when he was offered his own TV show. With the God complex that Dan Killian had, I thought for sure he would be pissed off enough to hunt them down, whether he thought Richards was alive or dead.
Don't get me wrong, I love a happy ending, it just didn't make any sense as to why he would leave them alive in the off-chance that Richards would find his way back to them, essentially winning the game and starting a revolution.
If your answer that Killian himself isnt a killer, he certainly has enough money and resources to make it happen.
IDK just seems like an unrealistic ending to me.
Other than that, I enjoyed the movie. Love me some Glen Powell.
I think he didn't do it because it didn't benefit him in any way. I don't remember any of his actions being driven by revenge. He seemed to be entirely focused on wealth and power.

True. He also might have truly believed that Richards was dead i guess. Doesnt seem like the type to watch the underground fan fiction show with all of conspiracies.
