Their representative is already there, sitting behind the desk in the oval office.

I like JD Vance representing Russia Because like all his other projects, he will screw it up.

Which has better odds on the prediction boards? Trump firing JD Vance or his wife Melania; both are legally incorrect but its never stopped Trump before.

He would fire Melania, since that’s the only one that’s actually possible. Then she would finally be able to go after Trudeau if he breaks with Perry

He could legally divorce Melania. I don't think she'd be entitled to the First Lady role afterwards. But no President has ever gotten divorced while in office, so I'd be surprised if it happens.

Countries might boycott. I would if I were a country.

As they should. Those that do go should snub Russia and ignore them.

Why is it that every time I see a picture of Putin, instantly I see an image of a prolapsed a*** with fecal matter? Huh!

Normalising criminal governments? Who may want this? Maybe someone who wants to rule his own criminal government? Who may that be? Maybe best friend of a man who died in 2019

When the meeting takes place under a criminal governemt any resemblance of moral is optional anyway.

The US is not a member of the ICC so I guess Putin wouldn't get arrested if he went. Too bad.

Putin got the full f****** red carpet treatment in his last U.S. trip thanks to agent Krasnov.

right. I forgot. So much shit has happened it's easy to forget. Reagan must be rolling over in his grave at what has happened to the GOP.

A lot of this shit can be pinned on him anyways. i hope he's rattling around in there.

I used to think so too. But it pales in comparison to what Trump is doing. And some of the things he did work out. He put the final nail in the coffin of the Soviet Union and won the cold war. Free Trade. Ended Iran Hostage crisis. Some things that didn't work out... trickle down economics, the Iran Contra deal, ...

Oh yeah he wasn't as bad as trump, i doubt anyone can get this dumb and corrupt. he certainly got the ball rolling though.

The other nations should do a venue change and not invite the US.....

Toys would be promptly out the pram. It's exactly what Putin would love to happen though. Trump seems more & more brazen about deserting NATO & buddying up with Russia. The more isolated the US is made to feel, the more support Trump will get from his minion republicans to do such a ridiculous move.

This is the correct approach. Isolate the fascists at every opportunity. Do not provide them with the cover of legitimacy.

Alex Ovechkin still has a valid visa, I believe.

And is a huge fan of Putin

"Huge fan" might be overstating it. > When asked if he still supported Putin, Ovechkin replied, "Well, he's my president." With regard to the invasion, he said, "Like, I am Russian, right?" Not exactly a ringing endorsement.

You obviously haven't listened to anything he's said on Rossiya 1 or to Soloviov

I can't imagine many countries will want to subject their representatives to modern American hospitality.
