Russia’s UN ambassador accused Western countries of hypocrisy and compared them to "pirates" while defending Iran’s actions in the Strait of Hormuz.

Don't know if they ever actually did attack any ships trying to pass, but that's what a blockade is.

I mean, that's not that far from the truth but, at least here in the EU we try to have a more fair and pacifist aproach. And that's what we did with Russia - tried to build very healthy relations and for the most part we acted in good faith. But Russia took our goodwill as weakness, like they always do.

But western countries didn't participate in Irans bukkake. Only USA and middle Eastern Israel. In addition russia is nor Europe, nor western. So they have no values in Westerners eyes.
