And Trump will probably lift more sanctions on both.
He is getting played.
When Trump said he had “concepts of a plan,” he lied. He doesn’t even have concepts. He just does without thought.

We should arm Russia’s adversaries in retaliation.

What do you think Ukraine is?

We’re not arming Ukraine. They’re getting intelligence but no weapons from the United States.

Lol.. there are multiple funds buying US weapons that are used in Ukraine. The shift from US funding to European funding hasn't stopped the reliance on American arms.. it just changed who pays the invoice.
European nations are currently facing a crisis because their own domestic defense industries cannot scale up fast enough to meet the demand. Consequently, they are forced to rely on American manufacturing, meaning global defense spending continues to heavily subsidize US defense contractors.

I don’t disagree with any of that. I’m just pointing out that the administration made a big show about ‘stopping arms sales’ to Ukraine which may not have changed the hard numbers of bullets and bombs but does go a long way toward showing which side the Americans support.

America supports selling weapons.. even better if others are paying for it. If NATO wants to keep meat grindering Ukrainians / Russians, the US will happily sell stuff.. I at least thought we were getting intelligence out of it..

The US has ZERO counter if they are fiber optic FPV drones. There is a good to fair chance there will be clips on r/ combatfootage of Marines going 💥 in a few weeks.
The military has not encountered this type of warfare really. The Trump administration also turned its nose up at Ukraine offering expertise before. So the Marines on the way there are likely screwed if it really goes down.

And now Russia has set up it's own clone of Starlink, so they can hit targets many thousands of miles away!

Not accurate. They can use larger drones to facilitate communications with attack drones. It's not satellites.

Remove sanctions on Russian oil. Russia sells oil to the tune $150 million a day. Russia uses a portion of the proceeds to arm Iran to kill American soldiers. Seems reasonable, eh?
