The fact that the SBU is catching these cells BEFORE they strike is a massive testament to how much their counter-intelligence has evolved since 2022. Early in the war, these networks were everywhere, but now it seems the FSB is struggling to maintain any real secrecy in Kyiv. Neutralizing a hit squad targeting military leadership and volunteers is a huge win for morale and operational security.
