This ammunition frequently fails catastrophically in the gun, maiming or killing the soldier. They'd be crazy to use it!

So here is question.  Is this just an excuse to make a flechette round that would normally be considered a war crime?  I would never want to accuse Russia of intentionally looking for ways to commit war crimes, but when the vodka fits.

So it’s just a small shotgun round with fewer pellets and somewhat longer range. Better have full auto on that to hit a fast moving object.

Some of these drones have heat sensing cameras so they can attack at night. Can’t shoot at a drone in the dark.

I don't understand why they don't just have undermounted shotguns. Or just carry a shotgun. Assuming you saw it coming, shooting a drone with a shotgun should be ezpz.

Oh yes I read about this. The Anti-Robot Bullets. They are called EDPs \[Electronically Disruptive Projectiles \]. I don't known how they work, but I do think its interesting were developing ammunition designed for electronics. This is probably gonna come off dark humor as hell but here If people cant even shoot each other and just start shooting each other's toys doesn't that mean war is literally pointless? Ironically there is more respect in blood spilt and lost then whatever this is turning into. And as usual it will likely be used against some country that can hardly even hold a house together.
