Whatever your opinion about this dude's movies-- their titles are all hall of fame pulp.

Bring back whoever choreographed the fights for Brawl in Cell Block 99. That shit was awesome.

I’m excited for this. I always really enjoy the dialogue in his films and books.

Same. His scripts are even like reading a book.

If you like his movies you should read his books. All are great but Congregation of Jackals is like one of my favorite novels ever. Wish that would be his next film but I also am excited for this

I’ve read A Congregation of Jackals, Wraiths of the Broken Land, Mean Business on North Ganson Street and The Slanted Gutter. All phenomenal. Ridley Scott has the rights for Wraiths and DiCaprio for Mean Business.

Is Adrian Brody still attached to this? I heard he dropped out after winning the Oscar

Dragged Across Concrete is one of my favorite crime epics and I can't wait to see what Zahler does with 1950s era mafiosos. Theo James is a good actor so casting doesn't worry me. This is an opening weekend watch (hopefully it gets a cinema release).

Finally Zahler is back. In my opinion he's the best director working today. 9 years between movies is simply unacceptable.

Probably the best example of a guy whose politics I wildly disagree with but will always watch his movies because they're really fun. Looking forward to yet another way to destroy someone's face.

Hate his politics, love his movies too

Is he a trumper or some shit? I know some of his movies could be considered to have some right wing stuff in them but I ain’t really familiar with anything outside that

I don't think he made any political statements. I follow him on Goodreads, and he occasionally reviews various obscure comics and star trek books. I don't know if that says anything.

Honestly it's been a while and I don't remember. But there was definitely right-wing stuff going on.

Love Zahler’s stuff. Not sure about Theo James.

If it won’t feature the old school joke “*Jews are Italians without tomatoes*” I’ll be disappointed…
