You can already make your own wound treatment at home with high grade wet wound compresses, sterile manuka honey and a bit of prep. Sterile prepped cod skin and synthetic variants already exist as incredible compresses. This is a step forward but nothing extremely sci-fi or impossible to see hitting the market within a couple of years. Now if your local p******* will stock it is a completely different question.

It's not just a compress though. It's an oxygen delivery and inflammation suppression system that will be able to be kept on for months at a time. It also is applied as a liquid that will conform to the shape of the wound better than fish skin could.
