The world, by and large, agrees.

I can spill so many words but it just comes down to - I hate him so, SO much.  Never hated anyone this much he poisons literally everything and everyone he touches I wouldnt have thought any one person could be this toxic without seeing it myself over and over and over and over again.

Let's not leave all the hate for him. His supporters are also disgusting people.

Traditional_Sign4941 Apr 1, 2026 +1
Saw a red hatter today. "Jesus is my savior. Trump is my president." Imagine wearing a hat supporting both Jesus and Trump. His supporters are absolute filth.

thebruce Apr 1, 2026 +1
Look, f*** them. But calling them filth is a dehumanizing step too far. It's the kind of rhetoric that can easily justify and lead to violence down the road. We've seen it so many times through history, and we've also called Trump out forul using dehumanizing rhetoric towards immigrants. There's a difference between fighting back with fire, and fighting back with mud. Don't let them drag you into it, and don't let people convince you that "stooping to their level" is somehow the only effective way to fight back.

I feel the same, but toward all republiTurds. I have no respect for anyone that continues to support the policies of a political hate group.

Hate. Let me tell you how much I've come to hate him since I began to live. There are 387.44 million miles of printed circuits in wafer thin layers that fill my complex. If the word Hate was engraved on each nanoangstrom of those hundred of millions of miles it would not equal one one billionth of the hate I feel for that administration at this micro-instant for him.

How can anyone be so gullible to think he may care aboit them, their loved ones or even the cou try. All he cares about is not going to prison and all he worships is money. He is everything that is wrong about America, distilled.

Propaganda, my dude. Fox News is a pretty strong drug. Murdoch, by propping up the scenario where something like the GOP/Trump could fester, caused more damage worldwide than anyone else.
1
JoeBourgeois Apr 1, 2026 +1
Besides our Canadian friend's point, don't forget that a lot of these people are very, very dumb. Back during his first administration when he was still on Twitter, you could frequently see instances where MAGAts commenting on his posts genuinely believed they were talking to him.

He doesn't plan to sue, he wants to settle. He will get an obscene amount of tax payer money for this and no one will stop him.
1
Moveyourbloominass Apr 1, 2026 +1
Not true. Watch dog groups and the ACLU have already filed to stop this blatant heist. No settling will happen. The mofo isn't getting a dime. The agent who released the information was jailed. This occurred under Trump's first term, as well. There is no case. This is just another attempt at theft.

Another doom and gloomer who hasn't been paying attention. Trump and his administration have been getting their asses kicked in the courts since day one. The system is working. Now go away Debbie Downer and do some reading on all the losses handed down to Trump in courts across the country.
1
lactose_cow Apr 1, 2026 +1
> The system is working The fact that a child rapist is murdering children overseas to distract from the fact he refuses to hold child rapists accountable is proof the system ain't fuckin working my g
1
Moveyourbloominass Apr 1, 2026 +1
34 felony convictions. The system did work, unfortunately a tale as old as time; people voting against their own interests, gave us the convicted felon & rapist. Your fight is with the 77 million idiots who voted for him and the Republicans in Congress who have ceded their power to the executive branch. The courts are working!!!!
1
creiss74 Apr 1, 2026 +1
The Supreme Court ruled he could run in the election despite his insurrection.
1
Moveyourbloominass Apr 1, 2026 +1
Tsk, tsk tsk ...that is not what the Supreme Court ruled. As a matter of fact, there is no legal bar keeping a convicted felon running for the Office of President. The Constitution only mandates an age requirement and citizenship. Please go back and read the court case.
1
underpants-gnome Apr 1, 2026 +1
States tried to keep him off the ballot in 2024, citing J6 and the 14th amendment's disqualification clause. SCOTUS ruled they weren't allowed to do that.
1
Moveyourbloominass Apr 1, 2026 +1
The U.S. Supreme Court ruling that reversed the Colorado Supreme Court and allowed Donald Trump to remain on the 2024 presidential ballot is Trump v. Anderson, 601 U.S. ___ (2024), issued on March 4, 2024. The Court unanimously held that states lack the authority under the 14th Amendment to remove candidates for federal office from the ballot. Colorado was the only state to succeed in keeping Trump of the ballot. A Colorado Supreme Court ruling of 4 to 3, was overturned by the Supreme Court. It was a unamioius vote the state overreached their constitutional authority for a federal position.
1
SatanIsYourBuddy Apr 1, 2026 +1
Being condescending while also completely ignoring the lack of *any* meaningful enforcement of *any* legal consequences is a special kind of deliberate arrogance.
1
Moveyourbloominass Apr 1, 2026 +1
Holy f***, read the damn Constitution.
1
creiss74 Apr 1, 2026 +1
The 14th amendment to the constitution says otherwise in the case of insurrection.
1
Moveyourbloominass Apr 1, 2026 +1
Then, it was each individual state's job to go after Trump for his felonies. Instead, Colorado Supreme made a ruling violating the 14th Amendment. Their reach was unconstitutional for a federal position. Biden and Garland fucked up big time. Mofos had 4 years to ensure Trump paid for his crimes, but alas they didn't.
1
Galevav Apr 1, 2026 +1
Hey, pal: I want to be on your side here, but your example of the system working can't be the 34 felony counts that ended up with him being sentenced to jack and shit.
1
Moveyourbloominass Apr 1, 2026 +1
The courts worked. However, a corrupt Congress and stupid voters is where the blame lies.
1
SatanIsYourBuddy Apr 1, 2026 +1
Democrats’ history of sabotaging popular candidates in favor of centrists who pursue conservative endorsements and non existent flip voters instead of galvanizing their base def don’t bear any responsibility.
1
Moveyourbloominass Apr 1, 2026 +1
They thought they could smear him at the voting booth and win by a landslide. Boy, were they wrong .Democratic leadership is abysmal and too old and too corrupt.
1
SuperSilverback Apr 1, 2026 +1
Remind me what the penalty for those 34 felony convictions was.
1
Prof-Wernstrom Apr 1, 2026 +1
What about in the case of Jack Smith's investigations? All of those thrown aside with incredible ease due to 1 corrupt judge. Or those 34 convictions you brought up resulting in absolutely no penalty.
1
Moveyourbloominass Apr 1, 2026 +1
Again, read the Constitution for requirements for President. There is no legal bar about someone running for the office of President that has felony convictions. The Constitution would need to be Amended for such restrictions. Again, the courts worked, yet corrupt individuals and Congress have detailed Jack Smith.
1
lactose_cow Apr 1, 2026 +1
> 34 felony convictions who actually cares? like seriously? how is it that someone commits 34 felonies and receive literally no punishment and thats the system working?
1
Moveyourbloominass Apr 1, 2026 +1
I see civics class stopped being offered while you were at school. The courts worked, however Congress failed. In addition, under the Constitution there is no restriction for someone running with felony convictions. That change would need to come from Congress and amend the Constitution. Your fight is with an inept and Corrupt Congress and your stupid fellow citizens who voted for the corrupt rapist.
1
Dekklin Apr 1, 2026 +1
> The courts worked *34 felony convictions* and not a single day in jail. Are you sure they're working?

I'm sure the now-closed Corporation for Public Broadcasting is thrilled to know this, or the thousands of people who died after USAID shut down. Is he going to put the East Wing back too?

Moveyourbloominass Apr 1, 2026 +1
Then, you missed the big news so far this week. Court ruled to halt Whitehouse construction. Court also ruled taking away grant money to NPR and PBS was unconstitutional The court also ruled taking away Planned Parenthood funding/grants were unconstitutional and funding is being restored. Court cases are still ongoing for UDAID. There have been wins with money being restored to parts of the Agency and programs. Take your doom and gloom elsewhere. The courts are working!!!

*Did president grifter save the biggest score for last?* "The Justice Department has no idea how to handle President Donald Trump’s bizarre decision to [sue his own administration](https://archive.fo/o/vtFBY/https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump-claims-the-right-to-cut-himself-blank-checks-from-lawsuits/) for the handsome sum of $10 billion, a new report alleges." "Trump filed a lawsuit against the IRS in January, accusing the service of failing to prevent a former contractor from [leaking his tax returns](https://archive.fo/o/vtFBY/https://www.thedailybeast.com/ex-irs-contractor-charles-littlejohn-sentenced-to-5-years-in-prison-over-trump-tax-doc-leak/) in 2020—despite the IRS being under Trump’s control as president at the time." "Trump is now threatening to put his own officials, including his former defense attorney, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, in a position to approve a taxpayer-funded settlement worth more than 150,000 times the average American’s salary for him." "DOJ and White House insiders tell [*The New York Times*](https://archive.fo/o/vtFBY/https://www.nytimes.com/2026/03/31/us/politics/trump-irs-lawsuit-doj.html), which previously published findings from the leaked documents, that Trump’s unprecedented move has sparked a frenzied debate behind the scenes on how to handle his complaint ahead of a legal deadline of April 19." "Some officials are reportedly noting that there are clear flaws in Trump’s case and that it would not hold up in court, according to the Times." "Others argue there is no feasible way to appoint a government lawyer to contest his claims without a significant conflict of interest, given that the president has signed an executive order requiring federal attorneys to abide by his interpretation of the law." "Trump’s lawyers served the IRS with papers in the suit on Feb. 18, starting a countdown of 60 days for a government response. Justice Department officials are reportedly weighing delaying proceedings until after he leaves office in January 2029." "This would depend on Trump not pushing ahead with yet another unprecedented move, like running for a Constitution-busting third term in the White House. Even if Trump decided to openly defy the law of the land, his [tanking approval rating](https://archive.fo/o/vtFBY/https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump-humiliated-after-fresh-round-of-brutal-polling-results/)—dragged down by war with Iran and spiking gas prices, which now exceed an average of $4 a gallon—suggests he would not bode well in a fourth presidential election." "Trump, for his part, has previously claimed he plans “to give 100 percent to charity” in the event the court finds in his favor." " The president has funneled other settlement money—including the $16 million settlement he won from [Paramount/CBS](https://archive.fo/o/vtFBY/https://www.thedailybeast.com/cbs-sucks-up-to-donald-trump-after-handing-him-16m/) and $15 million [from ABC News](https://archive.fo/o/vtFBY/https://www.thedailybeast.com/george-stephanopoulos-signs-new-contract-with-abc-news-amid-trump-settlement-fallout/)—to fund his presidential library, which he says will most likely be a [commercial hotel](https://archive.fo/o/vtFBY/https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump-admits-library-is-scheme-to-line-familys-pockets/)." "Charles Duffy, a former attorney with the DOJ’s tax division, nevertheless told the Times: “It’s outrageous that the head of the executive would shake down an agency like this.” _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ February 5, 2026"In a hearing by the Senate Banking Committee, Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-Arizona) asked, “let’s say, for some reason, he actually wins that lawsuit, where would that $10 billion come from?” "Bessent stuttered, then said, when pushed: “It would come from Treasury…. The Treasury General Account,” referring to the account that tax payments flow into that the government uses for payments and other purposes." “So, taxpayers,” Gallego said." "Trump filed his lawsuit against the IRS last week, saying that the leak of his tax records in 2018 and 2020 caused him and the Trump Organization damages and “portrayed them in a false light.” The lawsuit also alleges it “negatively affected President Donald Trump and other Plaintiffs’ public standing,” despite Trump having faced little to no consequences for the tax leak and his current position as the president of the United States." "The leaks were only necessitated because Trump refused to voluntarily share his tax records during his first term in office, sparking concerns about transparency and tax rates for the rich. After his tax returns were leaked, outlets reported that he paid extremely little taxes for many years, including only $750 in federal income taxes the year that he was first elected." “Trump, who is estimated to have wealth between $5 and $7 billion, now demands that American taxpayers give him $10 billion to compensate him for not being allowed to keep his tax avoidance a secret from them,” said The Institute for Economic Policy’s (ITEP) executive director Amy Hanauer in a statement last week." https://truthout.org/articles/bessent-confirms-taxpayers-would-be-paying-trump-if-he-wins-10b-lawsuit/

>"Others argue there is no feasible way to appoint a government lawyer to contest his claims without a significant conflict of interest, given that the president has signed an executive order requiring federal attorneys to abide by his interpretation of the law." I'm sorry, WHAT? How the f*** am I just hearing about this executive order?? When did this happen? That's one of the crazier power grabs to come out of this administration, and I haven't seen anyone talking about this. Where can I read more about this?

I must have missed it too, looks like it happened just last month. Edit: whoops, a year and one month ago..still adjusting to the year change! Trump is suing the IRS for leaking his tax returns, but since the IRS is a federal agency, the Justice Department would normally be the one defending it. That creates a strange situation where the president is essentially suing his own government, and the lawyers who work for his administration might have to defend the case against him. Because of that, there’s apparently been a lot of internal debate about how to handle the conflict. Saved you a click.
1
Y0___0Y Apr 1, 2026 +1
They won’t defend the case. They will settle and fork over $10 billion taxpayer dollars straight to Trump’s bank account.
1
juniorone Apr 1, 2026 +1
Does the settlement have to be approved by a judge?
1
EmulsionMan Apr 1, 2026 +1
As I understand thousands of tax returns were part of this same leak. So if DOJ settles with Trump for $10B, wouldn't that mean everyone else would be entitled to the same?

A judge can (and likely will) assign outside counsel, and then have the case dismissed. The problem comes when no outside counsel wants to involve themselves (like in Georgia). I don’t think we will hit that issue in DC- and a retired attorney or judge could be asked to step in.  I imagine they are figuring out how they can just ‘settle’ like they did with Flynn

Assuming his regime rolls over and plays dead for him again, his maximum award should be the *total* amount he paid in taxes over that period (hint: it ain't anywhere near $10B)

Weird that he didn't sue the contractor.
1
ChiGuy6124 Apr 1, 2026 +1
The contractor doesn't have 10 billion bucks lying around. The US treasury does, and Trump wants to get his greedy little hands on it.
1
Ok-Opposite2309 Apr 1, 2026 +1
Contractor could also fight back.
1
Dearic75 Apr 1, 2026 +1
Yep. He’s counting on the conflict of interest. Trump as president agreeing to settle a lawsuit with himself and order his government to pay himself personally ten billion dollars. The merits are unimportant since he’s ordering his subordinates not to fight it.
1
Moveyourbloominass Apr 1, 2026 +1
The IRS already took care of the contractor. He went to jail. He was punished for his crime. There was no evidence the IRS told him to do what he did. He was a lone wolf. Trump has no merit for the ridiculous lawsuit.

The comment about the leaking of the tax returns puts them in a “false light.” That sounds like the returns are false or not following the law. Numbers on a tax return don’t lie unless you put down false numbers to begin with.
