On January 17th, 2019 in Hollywood California Warner Bros hosted an invite only event that would later be known as “The Mortal Kombat 11 Reveal”
During this event, the first trailer was released, and Ronda Rousey was announced as Sonya Blade. The event allowed influencers & media to live stream a beta version of the game, and also interview Rousey & Ed Boon.
There were only about 200 people in total at the event, with about half of them being some type of content creator.
Notable guests included:
Cody Rhodes, Zelina Vega (in Jade cosplay), Xavier Woods (in Shao Kahn cosplay), Kofi Kingston (in Shang Tsung cosplay), Kat Von D (doing custom tattoos), Steve Caballero (signing custom skateboards), Greg Russo (with an early script draft of the MK movie), Angry Joe, Maximillian Dood, and Boogie.
The invited influencers were given gift packages on their way out of the event. You can find some of them unboxing them on YouTube.
The Hour Glass statue came in the duffle bag! It included a certificate that suggested influencers upload photos & unboxing videos of the gifts w/ a specific hashtag.
These are super rare, you had to attend the event to get them, the event’s date is quite literally engraved onto the statue.
I am selling everything. The hourglass, the bag, the signed skateboard, and the other associated trinkets.
According to Ebay/Amazon the Hourglass goes for $500, and the Skateboard for $200, so I'm selling the lot for $400.
