Setting up a homelab for the first time

Started with a single Raspberry Pi running Pi-hole. Now have three machines running Proxmox with about a dozen VMs. The learning curve for virtualization was steep but understanding networking, DNS, and storage at a real level has made me dramatically better at my actual job.
