>After a five-hour hearing on Wednesday, Berlin district court threw out three charges against him and dismissed the final charge of trespassing. The ruling came after the court viewed a video provided by the defence which appeared to contradict key testimony minutes earlier from two police officers.
If the video is contradicting the testimony of those officers, they lied.
Letting this guy go is cool and all (not really, because he still had to be dragged through the process) ... but where is the prosection of the officers?
Can Germany do better than the US to hold their cops accountable?

No.
If a police officer punches you infront of his colleagues and you want to sue that officer, you can be sure to get a counter sue and all his colleagues will testify against you.

But if a video surfaces that proves that every single one of those officers lied, then every single one of them should be both fired and prosecuted.

Police are just state sponsored gangs, always have been.

Yep. The police don't exist to protect the population, they exist to enforce laws made by people who have no connection to reality.

The harassment with no expectation of a conviction is a core method of suppression used by the Berlin police, particularly under Kai Wegner, as he knows the CDU aren't gong to hold the post again for another quarter century at least and his throwing his weight around. Which is why O'Brien is suing him personally for defamation following his inflammatory statements and attempt to deport en EU citizen

In Germany if you are anti-Israel and/or Pro-Palestinian then you lose your free speach rights and the state violently silences you.

Not if it in any way makes Israel or pro Israeli biases in policing look bad.

>Düsberg said he would file libel charges “immediately” against Berlin’s governing mayor Kai Wegner, who last year described O’Brien as an “anti-Semitic criminal”.
Does Berlin's governing mayor understand the law? What a foolish way to get in trouble.

I had to pay like 300-400€ for a semester and half of it was for the train/bus ticket which was included and allowed you to take every bus/train in the region and some trains that were connected to other cities.

Sure. It’s what tax money pays for in other countries, along with healthcare.

Tuition was much lower in the U.S., until Reagan became governor of California and cut funding. Republican governors all over the country followed his lead.
