You know, I have seen this behavior in real life. I had been with my wife for about 10 years and her mother always reminded me of Ozzy on The Osbournes. Constantly befuddled, slow, always in a light stupor. Similar story as to what people would say about Ozzy. She had an opiate addiction for a few years and she was never the same. There was a few months where she was lucid after those 10 years and that’s because she got off all the pills. FIL stirred up some bullshit because he is a combat veteran with significant untreated PTSD and then blamed it on MIL. MIL is back to being in a stupor so that FIL doesn’t get challenged on his bullshit. Bonus: My wife and I called him out on some other bullshit and now we aren’t welcome, specifically “he will fear for his life and defend himself accordingly.” He changed his mind after a few months but we are good with space. The last few years have been the best without them.

One day, people will stop just pointing out the most obvious hypocrisy and recognise that it's a targeted campaign. They're not stupid, they deliberately create rules that affect the poor but not the rich. It's not about 'patriotism' or nationalist ideology, it's class warfare. *All* of the major players in this shit use the framework of national co-operation (international travel, banking, property) to protect their money, while criticising poor people using the same framework to protect their safety and livelihoods.

Well go figure a celebrity that is worth $220 million doesn’t want ugly, poor people anywhere near her.
