He said in his Channel 5 interview that his dad wanted to go there for family or medical reasons (I don’t remember specifically) and then said he was never going back to LA so LaBeouf said alright and got them a place. He also talked a lot about how much LA was changing and the old LA that he grew up in was gone. Coupled with the fact that he’s resigned to being completely out of Hollywood and strictly an indie actor now it doesn’t seem like he has much reason to go back. Also, he’s prepping a movie in Louisiana so I’m sure that played a role too lol.
