The disclosure, made to the House Judiciary Committee as part of its investigation into the probes into Trump, offers new details about the types of records the president took with him to Florida after losing the 2020 election. The public is still barred from seeing former special counsel Jack Smith’s report surrounding the investigation that prompted him to bring Espionage Act charges against Trump after 300 documents with classified markings were discovered at his Florida estate. The files shared with Congress include a January 2023 memo of work on Smith’s team. Senate Judiciary Chair Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) also shared them on Tuesday. In it, agents are seen discussing the need to secure permission to show the classified documents at trial, arguing that Trump’s business interest in the documents indicates his motive, while the closely held documents show the highly sensitive nature of the materials. The memo does not provide further specifics about the contents of the classified documents. “Most damning is what these documents, cherry-picked by your own DOJ for disclosure, show about President Trump’s conduct,” Raskin wrote in a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi, going to quote from the memo from Smith’s team.

Pretty on brand for conservative voters. These are the same people who claim all their anti-lgbtq legislation is to protect children but don’t care about how often Trump shows up in the Epstein Files. They claimed they feared Kamala getting into a war with Iran and are cheering as Trump does. They claim the left loves political violence when a conservative podcaster dies, and applaud as ICE shoots Americans on camera. These people don’t have political beliefs. They have a quasi-religious fervor.

According to Jack Smith's memo some of the classified documents Trump kept at Mar a Lago were tied to his business interests and one was restricted to only 6 people. The DOJ also reportedly shared sealed grand jury materials with Congress by mistake. Worth following as more details come out.

The headline for this post is misleading These classified docs contained info so extremely sensitive that only six people had been allowed to see them Then f****** trump got a hold of them, leaves them on the ballroom stage at mar a lardo, secured only by a curtain, and uses them for businesses deals. WHEN ARE THE MAGATS IN CONGRESS GOING TO STOP THIS P.O.S.?? It is crazy to think that Biden had 4 years to investigate all of this criming and nothing happened. Appointing Merrick Garland was the biggest mistake he made. Jack Smith was appointed too late (probably by design so they can run out the clock). When Democrats are back in control, they need to leverage everything Trump has been able to do. We know the Republicans are the biggest hypocrites, but they must not let this go.

Read the article man. Its saying that the reports were so highly classified that only six people were allowed to see it, according to the actual rules. Then he took it to maralago and showed it to whomever. So the "only six people" is demonstrating the level of secrecy that should have been applied.

Not six of his cronies, but rather six highly placed individuals only had access to that file. Nuclear weapon designs? No, 100s of people would have access to that. Our Nuclear posture or targeting? Still dozens if not 100 people. No, something that tight could only be one thing: the identity of a mole close to an enemy leader, probably Putin, North Korea, or Iran. But Trump kept it because he wanted to monetize it. Which leads me to my theory of it’s related to a mole that was inside the Kremlin close to Putin. Trump probably sold that information for $1 billion in crypto investment from the Russians (and the Russian murdered the source), but it continues to be something Putin holds over his head because he could reveal the deal to the American press. It’s the only thing that makes the most sense. The six people would be the president, the head of the CIA, the second in command at the CIA, the Moscow station chief, and one or two handle handlers for the source.
