“Social media influencer.” He’s a racist who goes around videoing himself calling people slurs and trying to provoke them to violence. He has been kicked off of multiple platforms and barred from multiple places across the city. F*** this guy.

"nuisance streamers", like Jonny Somali, Vitalik and many others who are trying to get rich by doing the most awful things on stream. It's not rare that someone dies as a result, like it happened in France for instance where a guy died during Kick sponsored stream on their platform, the guy was abused by the streamers for views and died of exhaustion. I mean imagine the worst dystopian novel about media and we are almost there... I don't know what worse, those people, the platform who enable them, or their followers... all I know is that it is all about MONEY.

They monetize criminal behavior, they should be in jail and their platforms should be sued out of existence.

Against YouTube’s community guidelines. But they’re getting a cut of the cash… so.. nothing to see here. Same with Facebook and their endless stream of ai slop and scams.

I get money is a powerful motivator but like why would you WANT to be viewed as a dangerous a******?
57
jasta85 May 11, 2026 +151
You got it backwards, they were dangerous assholes from the start and just figured out they can monetize it.
151
UsernameIn3and20 May 11, 2026 +21
Yup, normal people know they can be monetized with scummy behavior but don't do it because of morality and such. Scumbags do it anyways but realized they can make money whilst doing what they usually do.
21
rhubarbs May 11, 2026 +3
Seems to me the most powerful people on the planet are this kind of scumbag, having enriched themselves with what they can get away with, and seemingly actively help those who got caught doing the same. In a tribal scale, these people would've been stomped into a smear. But somehow, modern justice systems step in the way of justice.

We have one who goes around town filming fat guys in particular. He promises them money then gets them to bend over with another employee standing behind them and films them saying something explicit backwards then posts it on tiktok to get them fat shamed. I know two people who have fallen it so far and one of them was fired, and like yeah they're idiots for trying it but also this person shouldn't be promising money to or filming people who work minimum wage jobs and who are struggling to make ends meet.
3
Hands May 11, 2026 +128
Yeah this dude literally walks around with a gun and bear spray trying to bait black people by calling them the n word. Even by ragebait or nuisance streamer standards this guy is a bottom feeding sack of shit.

11

Johnny and the prosecution appealed his sentence. That typically takes at least six months, during which time he will be held in detention. So he may not get out for a year. LOL
33
DanNeely May 11, 2026 +20
And the detention center he's in for the length of his appeal is a much more miserable place than the labor prison he'd have gone to otherwise. (Similar to city/county jail vs state/federal prison in a US context.)

59
Ftpini May 11, 2026 +17
They’ve always been whores. The entire business model of an “influencer” is to gain a following so they can immediately sell out and advertise scams and garbage. It is a detestable lifestyle for the overwhelming majority of them.

They're worse than that I'm a doctor, in my field of Immunology, we have a running joke disorder called "influencer induced Munchousin's" People see some influencer who read the back of a package and decided they are now medical experts, and say shit like "if you blink your eyes when they're dry, you have a parasite" And then they come into my office and explain to me they have an eye parasite because they blink a lot after staring at the TV or the phone. Then I have to explain to them that Healthcare Hunny 221 is not a real doctor, and looks like she's only 19, not a good source of medical advice. Then I bill their insurance for a special consultation, because youre paying me $265 to answer your stupid ass questions.
385
Almostsuicide1234 May 11, 2026 +215
Not a doctor, but I run an organic foods market. "Parasites cause all disease" is the latest psychotic "health trend". I have customers with perfectly treatable cancers that are foregoing treatment for diy parasite "cleanses" and horse dewormer. I keep my mouth shut mostly, but one young guy with lymphedema broke me. I told him "your cancer is going to get worse and worse, until one day you break and go to medical doctor, and you will hear "if only you came 2 years ago...". It's so f****** sad and infuriating
215
unfinishedtoast3 May 11, 2026 +126
Yup. My son just showed me a YouTube ad he got last night that outright says diabetes is caused by a parasite, and you just need to buy their oil of oregano to cure it. YouTube is going to eventually get sued when someone's uncle dies from advice he took from advertising.
126
dontsellmeadog May 11, 2026 +50
I've seen that ad, and I'm shocked it's even legal.
50
unfinishedtoast3 May 11, 2026 +47
It isn't. They tag their ad as "gardening interests" to get around YouTubes shitty AI screener YouTube thinks they aren't liable because of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, which says platforms aren't responsible for contents of ads However, there's a rider at the end of that law that says they ARE responsible for outright false claims. They still have to combat false advertising or face the lawsuit for hosting the ad Those blue chew ads are labeled as "dermatology and skin care" for erectile disfunction medications. Supplement ads with outrageous claims are usually labeled as "fitness" ads
47
masterlich May 11, 2026 +14
You'd think even a little startup like Google would be able to hire a lawyer to read the law all the way to the end.
14

I got caught up in a conversation with a coworker one day talking about a “doctor” they watch on YouTube that recommends different supplements and shots and he’s just totally willing to order injectable drugs online that aren’t fda approved because a dude on YouTube said it worked. I remember there was something about a hotel that was approached by an influencer who asked for a free stay in exchange for “free” promotion on their social media, which had millions of subscribers or something. The hotel said they could pay upfront and then get refunded if they could get even two of their subscribers to use their code to book a stay at the hotel. They couldn’t even do that. There was no increased business due to the influencer. (Someone correct me if I’m wrong. I don’t remember all the details.)
55
dllm_designs May 11, 2026 +24
This sounds pretty fair. More businesses should adopt this approach with influencers
24
mephi5to May 11, 2026 +84
Sometimes they good for something. Once we stayed in BnB in Newport. That bnb became famous because they had a sign - no influencers. So some shmuck arrived and said they will stay for free for the “exposure and visibility”. The guy told him to fck off. It started an online dispute. In the end bnb got a great coverage and free advertising :)

I assume his goal is to get donations from other racists online once he does get a violent reaction or goes to jail for "defending" himself Unfortunately there has been many instances where racists get huge donations from "anti-woke" people who think supporting streamers that use the n-word is protecting free speech
53
PostIronicPosadist May 11, 2026 +23

> Dalton Eatherly, also known as “Chud the Builder,” was arrested on May 9. According to an arrest affidavit, Eatherly, who films content, including racially charged content on Broadway, was asked by the restaurant not to livestream or be disruptive for dining service. > After ordering two full entrees, drinks and appetizers, totaling $371.55, the restaurant realized he had been livestreaming and asked him to stop. > Allegedly, he became disruptive, made racial statements, and began to yell and cause a scene, according to the affidavit.  Who? This dude has a hella racist givesendgo that has raised $50k++ > Help the Chud and his family Dear friends, supporters, and champions of free speech, > My name is Dalton Eatherly, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart, fighting to protect my family and my business. Just over one year ago, I started DLE Contracting in Clarksville, TN out of sheer necessity. I was fired from my previous contracting job after BLM activists targeted me over words I shared online—jokes and opinions they twisted to end my career. With no other way to support my family and my precious 2-year-old son, I poured everything into this small business working tirelessly to provide for my family and build a future. > But now, that dream is under attack. Not for the quality of my work, but for what I say online. I’ve shared mild jokes, unfiltered thoughts, and yes, sometimes I’ve used the N-word in what I thought was edgy, harmless humor. I know it’s controversial, but it’s my right to speak freely. For that, hundreds of people in my city are slandering my business, spreading lies to tear down everything I’ve worked for. The hate has escalated to a horrifying level: I’ve received death threats so vile they shake me to my core. People threatening to r*** and murder me, and even targeting my innocent 2-year-old son with unspeakable cruelty. As a father, hearing these threats against my little boy breaks my heart and keeps me up at night. > In the midst of this nightmare, a spark of hope emerged: I went viral on Instagram, gaining over 23,000 followers who connect with my story, my resilience, and my refusal to be silenced. People are beginning to stand up for American ideals and values. This platform is a chance to turn things around, but right now, I’m broke. The slander has crushed my business’s income, and I’m struggling to keep food on the table, pay our bills, and protect my family from this onslaught. I need your help to bridge this gap and rebuild. > Your donation will go toward: • Covering basic living expenses to keep my family secure. • Exploring legal options to fight the slander and protect my family from these vicious threats. •Find new ways to create a sustainable income for me and my family. This isn’t just about money—it’s about standing up to a mob trying to destroy not just my family’s future over words, but our rights to free speech as a whole. If you’ve ever felt silenced, attacked, or punished for your beliefs, you know this fight. My business, only a year old, was born from necessity after I was canceled once before, and now I’m facing it again. With your support, I can rise above this hate, provide for my family, and prove that cancel culture won’t break us. Every dollar, every share, every prayer means the world to us. Thank you for standing with my family in this battle for freedom and survival. With gratitude, Dalton Eatherly > Aka: ChudTheBuilder This dude is the f****** worst. Dude has raised $50k+ the last few mints and is now getting more donations since this hit the news. Goddamn it pays to be a racist a******. That’s crazy.
49
Epibicurious May 11, 2026 +30
Tin foil hat time: I have to wonder if these donations are coming from wealthy individuals who want to lionize these individuals and their rhetoric. Like yeah, there are a lot of racist dipshits out there, but it does seem strange that they seem to consistently get a fair bit of fundraising when they do something objectionably bad.

Why is it that their fight for freedom of speech always boils down to wanting to say the n word? It's just pathetic.
7
_larsr May 11, 2026 +72
Isn’t he also a white supremacist? That’s what I got from a quick google search. He likes to use the n word.

polyploid_coded May 11, 2026 +66
Yeah when the article said "films content, including racially charged content on Broadway" I knew that they weren't prepared to explain what this guy actually says and does. I don't know why people are framing this like his thing is restaurant reviews.

Combdepot May 11, 2026 +57
Social media influencer? He’s just a degenerate Nazi sack of shit. Quit the bullshit.

Good. FAFO them all the way offline.
61
Ladymistery May 11, 2026 +10
Good. entitled twits. 'social media influencer' should NOT be a thing
10
Fit-Let8175 May 11, 2026 +9
IMO, influencers are self-elevated, often entitled, people who believe their opinions are more valuable than others. It's similar to someone asking you what is your favorite color and then telling you you're wrong if it is not the same as their's.

killerkadugen May 11, 2026 +8
Oh, the guys that was going around calling Black people the N word. Welp...

One time a bartender accused me of having a pitcher of Pacifico that I didn't order. He said I had ordered it with the bartender who left. I told him he was wrong and the pitcher was there when I sat down. He doubled down and I said I'm not paying for something I didn't order or drink. Plus the fact there was a policy that needed two IDs to order anything over a pint. He tried to charge my card, but I saw that happening so I turned it off for purchases on my phone and it wouldn't go through, so he called the police. I waited outside for them and explained the situation to which they asked to see the camera footage but he said only the owner has access to it. They got my info and told me I could leave and they'd be in contact. Well sure as shit, the owner pulled the footage for them and showed me never ordering a pitcher of anything. They called me and told me I was correct but the owner still decided to trespass me from the bar because, "I made the bartender feel uncomfortable."

Ksh_667 May 11, 2026 +7
What a crock of shit. You should name the bar so the rest of us can avoid it.
7
pizzaduh May 11, 2026 +12
Hooleys Irish bar in San Diego

Ksh_667 May 11, 2026 +7
Thank you! I hope everyone avoids it. What a horrible sounding place.

EyCeeDedPpl May 11, 2026 +6
Whenever an influencer or person acts like an a******, or has views that are abhorrent to me- I don’t go and engage with their content, or argue with them, or call them out on their behaviour. I just go and block them. I block so they get zero money from me. Every interaction, good or bad, increases their profits, their views and their spread. Block influencers. Take away their numbers, their engagements, their rage baiting for clicks.

Delusional, unemployed loser finds out the hard way that no one gives a sweet f*** who he thinks he is.
7

The f****** bill is not what needs to he hilighted in this story. This guy is a racist dangerous trouble maker and someone is going to get seriously hurt or worse if he is allowed to continue with his terrorism.

Good. Would’ve been better to stick him in the dish pit for 12 hours. Or however long it took to pay for his meal.
6
k_realtor May 11, 2026 +6
Anybody down to help write a bill to double the fine or double penalty for people that commit crimes while trying to monetise it for internet clout/ influencer type content? Let’s Go!!!!!!!!!!!

Back in the day when Macy Gray had some hits she showed up to my restaurant, with like 15 other people, did it up, and expected her tab to be comped. It was not.

One day I’ll get my shit together and get that bar I’ve always wanted.  The first sign going up on the door after the OPEN sign, is a sign saying “Influencers pay double.” If you even hint at how many followers you have or what perceived gift you should be given, you’re out. Don’t care. Nooooooo. Don’t care what this could do for my business.  You and your “followers” can drink somewhere else.

Twenty years in the industry, I’ve never been convinced that having a free social media account entitles you to free food

I have a client who’s 15 year old daughter is an influencer with 2mil plus followers and she recently got paid $35k for talking about a product on her stream for a a couple minutes. You can imagine what kind of person she’s growing up to be.
21
super-bird May 11, 2026 +7
Guy is an ultimate loser. Anyone actually watching his content is not ready to fit in with society.

Sometimes I wish I could travel into the past and stop Al Gore from inventing the internet

Isn’t this the same garbage inbred POS that goes around calling people the N-word while streaming live?
4
ActuatorLower8371 May 11, 2026 +4
influencers should get 5x normal sentencing since they influence people with their behavior
4
TruPengu May 11, 2026 +3
Can we please have a course or certificate requirement for people to be influencers and social media stars? This is ridiculous
3
danzigwiththedead May 11, 2026 +4
That’s not an influencer, that’s a scam artist

Pretty Rick and Morty labeled “Influencers” as Unproductives when it came to a societal structure.
3
LinkovichChomovsky82 May 11, 2026 +4
I wanna be an endless commercial when I grow up. That is the essence of what an influencer is.
4
Bulky_Caramel May 11, 2026 +4
Oh Jesus, this guy is a streamer who purposefully seeks out black people to follow around, and shout slurs at because he wants to goad them into attacking him to justify his racism, but also so that he has a reason to 'defend' himself from 'violent' black people. And like.....okay, even if you took away all the racism, the white supremacist theory about black people being irrational, quick to anger, and violent falls completely flat here. Live streaming yourself as you follow random people around insulting them, and trying to bait them into getting angry and trying to fight you is almost always going to seriously piss someone off, regardless of their race.
4
redvoxfox May 11, 2026 +5
Hope 'sponsors' and people and companies being extorted by these so called 'influencers' hear this loud and clear:   The *only* influence the 'influencers' have on me is to avoid and ignore everything they 'recommend.'   What a bunch of entitled unearned privilege uninformed uneducated brats!  Why would I ever listen to them?!  Teaching my kids the same as we teach them to think critically and deconstruct messaging and media and evaluate meaning and motivation.  We're surely not the consumption market the marketing driven social media world and the politics of polarity and division and manufactured scarcity and desire wants.
5
wizeowlintp May 11, 2026 +5
this is the guy whose video was going around the other day—one where a black woman who he'd apparently known before his influencer schtick and said that she'd host him over for dinner approached him during filming, and he said the n-word to her face. Karma is sweet, isn't it 😂😂😂
5
december14th2015 May 11, 2026 +4
Is this in Nashville?? Us locals have been laughing and waiting for his arrest for like two weeks.
4
Casingdacat May 11, 2026 +4
Good. Throw the book at him. He sounds like he thinks he’s entitled to do what he wants, wherever he wants to do it. Uh uh. I am not a big fan of influencers in general. I’d never watch this guy anyway.
4
CatsLovenly May 11, 2026 +7

No doubt that influencer was expecting free food

Dalton is a f****** D***!
3
Historical_Lab8619 May 11, 2026 +3
Influencer culture has largely become about seeking attention and portraying oneself as important. Incidents like this only strengthen the perception that fame gained without responsibility is a problem for society, rather than a positive contribution.
3
antillian May 11, 2026 +3
“Chud the Builder.” Seriously?
3
midgaze May 11, 2026 +3
What is an influencer exactly? Can anyone just call themselves one?
3
adoptagreyhound May 11, 2026 +3
Give him what he wants - a maximum jail sentence on all charges. He will get free food for a while longer.
3
DreamTheaterGuy May 11, 2026 +3
Why is this POS famous?
3
PickleNutella May 11, 2026 +3
Never was lucky enough to witness it myself but when I worked in a hotel we would sometimes get scumbags claiming to be influencers and they wanted free rooms and shit and in exchange would give us exposure. They were all kindly told to pay up or f*** off. There might've been a few weirdos making angry phone calls but nothing out of the ordinary, really.
3
boygriv May 11, 2026 +3
What kinda bum can't pay for one average meal out with no drink?
3
Burpmeister May 11, 2026 +3
I f****** despise how reality drama slop, my most hated tv show genre, has infected almost every part of the internet.
3
Wizzle_Pizzle_420 May 11, 2026 +4
My theory is if ‘Real World’ and ‘Jerry Springer’ never happened, thus no reality tv, we’d be living in a completely different world today. And FaceBook dropping the school email you needed to register. Even MySpace was harmless fun. Embrace stupidity and stupidity will embrace you right back.
4
mqrdesign May 11, 2026 +3
Influencers have become a pain in the ass for a lot of businesses and people. They're becoming arrogant entitled dipshits who think everyone has to know them.
