Filming wrapped December 1st 2025. Post production cant possibly take that long, they just gonna sit on it for 10 months before releasing it?

Post production on a film like this can easily take a year. Then there’s the marketing campaign and the search for the optimal release date.
Oh, and it’s going to be awful.

Friend of mine finished filming his one middle of December 2025, it’s not out until later than this in 2027.
Post production is crazy long on major productions.

I’m guessing they wanted to wrap filming as quick as possible just in case Mel Brooks uhhhhh, then wait until the 40th anniversary for release
