So, the algorithm's worked. Hopefully most of the views weren't bots. Trailers do not always a movie make.

This movie will no doubt make at least a billion as Spider-Man is insanely popular… what makes this movie more appealing is that you don’t need to watch dozens of other Marvel shows/movies to understand what’s going on in this one.

They never should have changed the model that was working. I like the Marvel movies, but I am not going to watch every single show just to understand the films. If I can’t understand the films without watching multiple shows, then I just won’t watch them. They naively thought that the majority of audiences would just consume everything Marvel 24/7. It doesn’t work like that.

It worked for a bit, I feel, when D+ first started, but then they fell into a loop of Marvel show ending, Star Wars show starting, Marvel ending, Star Wars starting. It became exhausting after a couple of years.

The first Iron Man was a weak adaptation of an amazing trailer.

Kingpin is clearly going to be the antagonist, right?

Honestly not even surprised, Spider-Man always brings crazy hype.

I’m not sure I believe this.

I feel like there has to be some other factor involved here. I don't doubt that it's a hugely popular franchise and I'm sure it will break a billion, but to suddenly have double the views of any other previous trailer seems too odd
