It's not just today, 17APR2026, but everyday that you should be informed. Read the article, understand what a holy war is, and then try to understand what "downplay" means. Trolls like yourself thrive off Brandolinis Law and want considerably effort put into justifying a handful of words as opposed to either developing an argument why or why he was wrong, or it's more nuanced and it's somewhere in the middle.
