Always got bad vibes from this English brand masquerading as Japanese.

They are banned in Japan (the brand) because it clashes with Asahi's Super dry brand.
Although im sure rapists would have a hard time entering too regardless of their shirt.

To be fair, that was originally one design across a host of others. It's just that the one design went (early version of) viral, IIRC because David Beckham was photographed wearing it. Then demand skyrocketed for that design and they just followed what customers were asking for.

I always thought it was a "How do you do, fellow kids?" brand, because I only saw men aged 40+ wearing their branding very openly.

I was looking at their jackets for a while about 10 or 12 years ago because they had some Barbour/Belstaff rip-off designs at a lower price point. But I never pulled the trigger. Glad I didn't.
Their great seemed OK for "fashionable" outdoor gear. But it was overly complicated. The weird triple zipper system was obnoxious & confusing. It was clearly designed to be visually stunning but short on practicality. I imagine that most people wore them unzipper most of the time.
Based on some of these other comments, I guess I should look at this dude's pic & facial hair?

Glad he got caught. Too often cases like this get stuck due to a lack of evidence. I wonder how they managed to prove he did it after so many years had passed? It says there was evidence, but no specifics

Have you not been following? The guy turned down a taxi ordered for him in order to join a drunk woman in hers. Whatever happened after, that will not ingratiate you to a jury.
60
Del_30303 days ago

He was convicted of r***, what the f*** are you talking about?
The article acknowledged that he denied the raping, but he was found guilty of raping by a jury.
If you want details on the evidence I'm sure it's out there, but it's weird to default-worry that the jury got it wrong.

Sub full of bots proving no one researched the full case & just read the summary. Couldn’t believe this case, didn’t tell him to get out of her cab, let both men in her flat, told worried friend who phoned while all three were together she was fine & didn’t want to stay at her house, convinced her it was….after, despite her not saying so initially, after the friend, Not her, phoned 101 to enquire. Definitely sounds like a conspiracy/political…although tbf no shadow figure forced/convinced him to jump in her cab, when he had his own, which would make a set up implausible. Has to be granted an appeal

All he had to do was shave and he would have gotten off scot free.
However, the facial hair is the one in the drivers seat now, so that was never an option.
