I wonder how his wife feels now that he's all but admitted to it. She defended him and called him her hero.
Same story with Richard Allen's wife - totally supportive and refuses to accept her husband is a killer.

Chad Daybell's children still defend him. He murdered their mom and married his mistress a couple of weeks later, and killed 3 other people including children.
Some people are garbage and defend even worse garbage.

To be fair, he is the only parent they have left. Children, even adult children, will sometimes perform wild mental gymnastics to maintain the bond they have to a parent, even one who is insane, dangerous, or who has done terrible things. Maybe in time they will come to see the truth and find the strength to distance themselves from their father.

What got me was how often the wife and kids traveled without him. I never read about a trip he took with them, it was always them getting the f*** away

Really makes you wonder how many men secretly lived another life as a serial killer and just never got caught. Crimes have abysmal solve rates NOW with DNA and cameras everywhere, before 1980 it was probably a free for all on the streets.

I’m unclear why they’re interested in the daughter’s p*** habits. Are they suggesting she witnessed the murders at a young age or something?
Edit: for the curious i found this article answering my own question
https://www.newsweek.com/rex-heuermann-daughter-gilgo-beach-killer-victims-1912375
Basically they’re theorizing that the daughter is actually involved in some of the murders

Okay now we're just murdering grammar.

Seems pretty coincidental that the daughter is also interested in the sick shit her father was actively doing. They worked together so I imagine they were pretty close. Sick, disgusting family. Seems unlikely that the mom wasn’t aware of anything.

**Don’t take this as me excusing anyone’s actions.**
If a serial killer’s daughter’s p*** preferences align with her father’s violent behavior, I highly doubt that it is genetic OR coincidence. My intuition tells me that she was likely exposed to some horrific shit in her formative years, and that is influencing her relationship with sexuality as an adult. Whether she was a participant or accomplice to the criminal acts should not be based solely on her sexual preferences.
From a psychoanalytic lens, I think it is noteworthy that it seems like her p*** consumption centers around cartoon depictions rather than real life depictions of violence (which the media would have me believe are available to people who want to see that kind of thing). I’m not going to draw any conclusions from that; I’m sure anyone reading this is capable of drawing their own.

The stuff she posted on her Tumblr seems to mimic the IRL crime scenes according to that Newsweek article. I guess she could’ve been spamming hundreds of posts but that’s pretty odd to me. I also don’t know why we are boiling down all these posts she made to sexuality. I get that some of the posts on that same tumblr were sexual in nature, but that doesn’t definitively mean that every post was sexual. And even if it’s all sexual, that doesn’t rule out involvement. On top of that, if she did see enough of that as a child and didn’t go to the police, she enabled multiple murders. I can confidently say I wouldn’t ignore my father’s involvement in multiple murders, but I could see how that wouldn’t apply to everyone I suppose. I’m also certain that Tumblr doesn’t allow you to post realistic depictions since they don’t even allow vanilla p*** to my knowledge.
This isn’t proof of anything by itself but it sure doesn’t absolve her of involvement either, quite the opposite or the lawyer wouldn’t risk his reputation and the case by mentioning this stuff at a live press conference.

It says she followed primarily furry p*** channels that were violent and depicted underage figures, r***, vore, violence etc, and that she drew violent images reminiscent of some of the victims such as one hanging missing a shoe, one missing hands and feet etc implying familiarity with the murders

This was one of those cases that I thought would never get solved. I think it was first Rolling Stone that wrote about it YEARS ago, the bodies showing up. I was stunned when they got him. He’s a monster.

The witness who gave the tip that led to this guy becoming a suspect described the suspicious guy he saw as "an ogre."
Thought that was dramatic until I saw a picture. Pretty accurate honestly.

I think he worked alone and I also think he had more victims, too - it's just that they're undesirables and nobody cares enough to put in the effort to find those missing women or solve their murders.

In the very beginning of him being found, someone dug out an old tip about trash dumping in the area of the dismembered bodies. Two men, similar vehicle, one big man, one man with a limp. The presumption, if connected, was that it'd maybe be his father. But that's all just from the initial online rumor mill and I don't know what came of it or if it was dismissed.

His own wife's DNA was on the tape used on a victim. Glad he finally gave up blaming it on her
