And now the oil will make its way through Hormuz and be loaded onto tankers later? Or what is the plan

Cant_Work_On_Reddit 5 days ago +115
Ohhh, maybe tanker-less oil trade? I think if we incorporate ai we may be able to get some investors

Use AI to track the currents of the spill to the open ocean, and where the slick will get the thickest. Then send a tanker to suck it all up. I'll need $10 billion, a tanker, a 50 good men.

KenTitan 5 days ago +23
I can do it with 40 men's and 9 billion plus 1 billion to line my pockets

Studio271 4 days ago +1
Those better be experienced  seamen's, or else you might fail and end up covered in that oily mess.
1
robertredberry 4 days ago +3
You need a good marketing team at least twice that size to greenwash it.

thejourneybegins42 3 days ago +1
I was thinking we flood the shit out the ocean with oil, and depending where it ends up we can sell it for profit$!!!!!11111eleven

RetardedChimpanzee 5 days ago +6
Works for logging, why not oil.
6
MedvedFeliz 4 days ago +2
Who needs an oil pipeline when you have the global ocean current to transport oil?
2
enigmaticowl 4 days ago +1
Maybe that’s what Trump meant when he told the EU to just “come and take it.” I’m picturing people rolling up by ship and trying to scoop (or suction?) the oil that’s floating on top of the seawater, like pigeons pecking at a dropped French fry lol.
1
merkindonor 3 days ago +1
Well, the oil thing didn’t work out but we still have our foundational AI technology. We are pivoting to building AI designed AI data centers. We’ve already secured 6 billion in funding and will be building our first 2 million square foot trial facility next to {black neighborhood}

It’ll get lit on fire when it gets closer to the blockade

I wouldn't be surprised if the US Navy attacked water because it was black
17
ViolettaQueso 4 days ago +1
That’s what I was thinking.
1
secretlyjudging 5 days ago +3
Why do we even need tankers? Just let the oil flow all the way to the US.
3
Defiant_Tomatillo907 4 days ago +2
If the oil wants to make its way thru the strait, it’ll have to pay the toll. If it doesn’t, they’ll burn it out of the water.
2
RobertJ93 4 days ago +3
> Or what is the plan > plan lol.
3
Dull_Job_6372 4 days ago +1
It’ll flow all over the world to its intended recipients.

I was looking at google earth there and this is actually common even before the war. Apparently related to bilge water releases though why oil makes its way into the tanks i dunno.
71
ashleyshaefferr 4 days ago +36
I bet safety and regulations are super super strict there too
36
Cosmo_Seinfeld 4 days ago +7
>I bet safety and regulations are super super strict there too One time I was working on a tankship in Birch Bay, Washington. The other watch spilled about 5 gallons of diesel. Opened up the wrong flange under pressure and the wind carried some diesel spray over the side. By the time I came on watch 4-6 hours later there were all kinds of EPA and USCG people on our ship. Very mad at us. Our Captain said there was more paperwork for the spill than if someone had died.

Black_Moons 4 days ago +4
>though why oil makes its way into the tanks i dunno. Usually because a couple barrels of oil is cheaper than fixing a leak.

Cause they're incompetent and sanctioned heavily so can't even build anything that actually works.

i'm from iran and after +2 months of having next to zero access to internet and losing my job because of it i just don't care about anything anymore tbh iran's regime screwing all of us over just to continue with their nonsense brainwash activities. they don't give a damn about their own people so we also don't care how much damage U.S cause to them or how many military personnel they kill such a horse shit life to live here in this stupid ass country man

Same feelings about the American government

Is that comparable now?

Deltwit 5 days ago -31
I’m mean the leader is a pedophile so worse
-31
wailferret 5 days ago +36
Iran is also lead by pedophiles. What do you think happens to the teenage girls they kidnap?
36
MotherOfDachshunds42 5 days ago +18
I believe 9 is the legal marriage age for girls
18
Deltwit 4 days ago -13
Let me see here, in Iran it’s legal, but in America it’s illegal right? So why is it that billionaires in America who are molesting and raping adolescent kids with EVIDENT PROOF are allowed to not only be freely elected but also allowed to be immune from the law in that regard. Americans are absolute clowns defending their genocidal pedophilic racist leader. How shameful
-13
Deltwit 4 days ago -5
What about ism with Iran… Americans are so delusional
-5
Dingcock 4 days ago +15
Didn't you do that by being up the American government?
15
Deltwit 4 days ago +4
Iranians didn’t have a choice in their government. Americans choose this and defend it
4
MotherOfDachshunds42 2 days ago +1
I’m not American
1
SkindianaBones 5 days ago +20
So Trump is worse than Iran's leadership? Presumably you're joking
20
Deltwit 5 days ago -4
A pedophile deporting and using ice to kill people. Manipulating the stock market to enrich himself at the cost of others the list is endless but im not going to bother arguing
-4
ApprehensiveCalendar 5 days ago +19
It's better that you don't because the implication that Americas leader is worse than Irans is so idiotic that any further arguing will just make you look more and more stupid.
19
HomemadeSprite 4 days ago -6
Let’s just say in a list ranking the world’s worst leaders, the gap between Iran’s leader and the US’s leader has shrunk significantly.

Iranian people are some of the friendliest people I know. It's such a f****** shame that the regime is so set on being an Islamist state perpetually in war with Israel through proxies. Imagine if the funding went toward infrastructure instead.
13
Astiyaag 4 days ago -1
You don't need imagination, just look for the infrastructures the US and it's rabid dog destroyed. Even after this war you American still think Iran is a desert without anything. Guess stupidity is your national trait.

They started to sell an internet called "pro internet" which costs 40x the time of the restricted internet, got 1GB to see what's up with the world
44
Fit-Ad-835 4 days ago +13
Internet for the rich, and the poor must stay silent. Also, as an Iranian i must add, this is different from white sim card, which is unfiltered access to internet for their own supporters
13
Irr3l3ph4nt 5 days ago -9
And you're not concerned at all that "pro internet" is directly watched by the regime and that VPNs can basically send you to jail? You just said f*** it and risked everything for listnook karma? That's incredibly reckless, or bullshit.
-9
Longjumping_Soil2116 5 days ago +18
Wtf lol, apparently Internet Pro is a [real thing](https://www.reuters.com/sustainability/society-equity/iran-eases-internet-curbs-businesses-blackout-enters-third-month-2026-04-28/) >The "Internet Pro" scheme is meant to solely benefit businesses as a temporary response to crisis conditions, but state media quoted the country's telecommunications regulator as saying on Monday that some operators had violated the framework, with investigations under way. I'm guessing our boy Hossein got it from one of those businesses that's prob under investigation
18
hosseinhx77 5 days ago +38
nah it's not available to normal people only for few specific jobs and organizations but it's getting abused just like anything else and some of the buyers are making V2ray configs out of those services and selling it to people like me so the IPs gets tunneled a few times before i even use it and btw i wouldn't really care either way, no it's not because of "listnook karma" the hell i want to do with that? im genuinely hopeless and don't care. have a good day my friend

I mean i live in iran and paid for the internet (starlink configs, different to what my friend above had bought) and use Listnook because frankly, other websites use MUCH more internet. (I also use telegram) I can use Listnook with one gigabyte for a week, just by reading posts and comments. Other websites like Instagram or YouTube will eat up the internet like its nothing

The Iranians are literally spilling oil in the water as they can’t reduce the output, and the blockade is in place. This was the only good move that the Trump admin did during this war
-45
Seemorebuds 5 days ago +24
Causing an environmental disaster is a good move?
24
OneMagicMango 4 days ago +5
Not one move this administration has done is good. It’s all been one massive and I mean massive shit storm. Would’ve helped to have an actual plan and not just concepts of one that they wing as this war goes on
5
Aromatic_Balls 5 days ago +2
What was the good move and why?
2
0x476c6f776965 5 days ago -12
A blockade on iran as a reactionary move to them blockading Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia
-12
Dark_World_Blues 5 days ago -3
I don't think that is the case, but I wouldn't be surprised if they actually did that.
