I know you’re joking, but the rifle was named after his (not directly related) relative Carl X Gustav, who ruled Sweden in 1654-1660.

Awesome. Thanks for the info. I love the Carl Gustav. It’s a fun weapon to shoot. Loud as a 747 taking off, but fun.
