Interesting project. Grid storage clearly matters, but it's still not obvious that redox-flow can beat the cost curve of lithium/sodium-ion batteries

It's nice to know there is a Plan B battery solution. In the US, a slew of defense contractors and industrial systems integrators were pushing their iron redox flow battery proposals not so long ago. The momentum and enthusiasm for flow batteries has waned somewhat as LFP and sodium chemistry get cheaper and cheaper. The latter offer the same solution in a smaller, lighter package and if they can beat on cost, they've got convenience built in.
