Yeah, I don’t care if the video omits context. She put her child in harm’s way and didn’t stop once her child was crying. The PR spin from her side is wild… she clearly has a problem.

The context we do already have is the police body cam video where she is both super drunk and admits to everything and thinks he should be punished for what she did. I have no reason whatsoever to believe this man is perfect, but I have every reason to believe that ABC should never have platformed her in the first place. If she wants to argue that video is only being released now to harm her bachelorette season, the only response I can fathom is that her season never should have existed to begin with.

The sad part to me, and this is cynical, but I think ABC knew and was expecting this video to be released further into the season. It’s a ratings bonanza. If you have two-three episodes left they would’ve finished the season with crazy high numbers

I sadly agree. I’m so relieved that this came out before the season started. They deserve to lose a terrifying amount of money over this. It’s pure exploitation of someone who is deeply unwell, and is fueling whatever is driving this abusive tailspin. It’s so sad for the children, both for what they’re experiencing in their home life, and for the bullying this will cause them from their peers. I have a son who’s turning nine, the same age as their oldest child. It’s absolutely old enough to understand how serious this is and how widely known it is. The poor kid.

Her defenders keep throwing out that Dakota seemingly waited until now to release it as some sort of vindictive act. But… it still happened? Regardless of when it was filmed. And he could’ve released it before she ever filmed her season. Even if he was trying to release it to be a d*** and ruin her season, why does that somehow negate the proof of her being violent?

She IS the story. She is the "star" and the show got made because of her tiktok shenanigans. The very first episode of SLOMW literally showed bodycam footage of her being arrested for this and used it as a plot line.

As soon as they announced her as The Bachelorette, my girlfriend who is up to date on all things reality TV, told me the girl is toxic. They can’t be shocked they wasted a whole season on her.

They had one of her children in the Secret Lives shows while she was yelling and arguing w Dakota and her family. Most parents are afraid to fight in front of children, let alone other people and ofc something that can be recorded and broadcasted to the public. The show really went dark since they didn't even pause filming to safeguard the welfare of the child, esp knowing Taylor's history.

Oh then I’m more confused, her marketing person released the statement in this article and that does mention her child. “…to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm…” but I didn’t see any statement directly from her, if that’s what you mean.

I feel like every premiere that I've experienced, I've never enjoyed fully, so this is another one ... it's extremely hard, and it took everything to get me here today," Paul said. "It's just heavy. It's a heavy time, and it's unfortunate," she added. "I'm struggling for sure, but also at the same time I feel like if I don't show up, then I'm just giving these opportunities away and not enjoying what we've worked on and something super exciting that's coming. I just feel like it was the right thing to do ... show up even though it's hard."

I’m in my mid 30s and have friends who have watch parties for this shit every week. My mom used to watch it religiously before she got sick of it. I think it has the ability to go on forever since it’s gotta be c**** as hell to produce

I saw a video that it usually costs about 2 mil an episode and there’s usually 10-11 episodes a season. The video also said that with crew and talent costs, lost advertising revenue, marketing etc this cancellation will probably cost ABC about 100 million
