This is very misleading. The situation genuinely turned dangerous in an area where this sort of stuff usually does not happen. There were extreme cases of arson, vandalism and destruction of property. There are some automobile showrooms in that area and they damaged many vehicles scheduled for delivery too. Their demands are ofc valid but it doesn't make sense to become hooligans and cause destruction of property which is not even remotely related to the issue at hand

it does make sense, India lacks french mindset. People are the boss in a democracy not the system.

Govt has agreed to price hike of 21% and some demands while high level committee has been formed to look into other demands of workers.
Protests and agitations were going on but tear gas was used in few locations where protests turned violent with media people being beaten up,, arson and vehicles being burnt. Police are now looking into possibility of chaos having been spread by some bad actors who took advantage of the protests. Bot networks and misinformation spread by accounts created 24 hrs ago is also being investigated.
