The episode where they make all the fake news to keep their dad from finding out about the OJ verdict. I was crying laughing.

The Dungeons & Dragons episode is one of the best episodes of tv I've ever watched. I love that they went all-in on it.

I loved the mom the best. I was saying to my wife she should get a spin-off where she starts her own business in a mall.

More like a spin off where she goes back to jail

If you're over 50yo it is even funnier with all the 1990s jokes. Jerry Seinfeld and his "daughter"; Lyle Lovatt + Julia Roberts; phone sex 'scams' etc. And that's just the first episode.

The mom and dad are the funniest TV parents since the Costanzas, they really need a spinoff.

Susan is up there with Kitty Forman and Lois Wilkerson/Nolastname as far as screen moms go. Such a brilliantly realised character.

"I was made from wishes" My wife and I had to pause the tv because we were laughing so hard at that entire conversation

Susan is one of the best television characters ever created. Hands down.

Same, I was surprised how consistently funny it was. It really does have that early Family Guy vibe where the jokes just keep landing without feeling forced. I’m kind of bummed, too. If it doesn’t continue, it feels like one of those easy comfort rewatches already.

cried with laughter at the play scene. Would prefer it finished high rather than drag on and suffered for it

they gonna make an animated series that takes place after the 2nd movie

But the actors in the show are what makes it great.

I believe it’s just too expensive to keep doing with all the CGI involved. They lucked out getting it made when they were still throwing crazy money at streaming shows.

they're doing the voices in the animate series too. except for john, it'll be voiced by mark walberg.

Don’t forget Roxy from Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia. She is so funny. Sometimes I’ll say something funny in the mom’s voice.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, now help me dig the crack rocks outta my ass" Hits different after seeing her play the mom on Ted.

Wait until you find out she played Naomi (the one that flashes full bush) in the movie Waiting.

You're correct that there wont be a live action season 3. But there is an animated Ted series coming soon, it will take place after the movies though and Wahlberg will reprise his role as Johnny. It's not the same, but at least Ted as a franchise isn't dead. And I do get why they can't keep doing it in live action, it cost an absurd amount of money to make in that way as an on-going show. And I also agree with you, the live action show was amazing, easily the best thing Seth has done if you ask me; the movies were fine, but that show was on a whole nother level.
