That Happened Twice?

Posted by CartoonWeekly

I thought a fun game might be naming something very specific that an actor did in at least two different movies, and then people reply to guess the movies you were talking about. Examples could be: * Mikey Madison is a knife-wielding psycho who gets burned alive. * Ryan Reynolds is someone's imaginary friend. * Rachel McAdams is married to a man with the ability to time travel.

I love the story that Matt Damon tells where he was unsure about taking the part in The Martian since he had **just** done something so similar in Interstellar, and when he said that to Ridley Scott the response was “ahh no one gives a shit about that” and that was apparently enough to change his mind lol

Idina Menzel plays a misunderstood sorceress with a “cursed” younger sister. Her name starts with EL and ends with A. She has a breakout song at the end of Act 1 when she decides to stop hiding her power and liberate herself. Ok, it was technically a musical, but they made a movie on it…

I have an obscure nsfw one I happened to notice in the movie I watched the other night. Cw SA >!Chiara D’Anna uses a safe word during roleplay but the other person ignores it, even though the other person is not actually receiving sexual pleasure by continuing the scene and was in fact pressured into the roleplay by D’Anna’s character!<

I thought about this during a recent rewatch of "Close Encounters of the Third Kind." The other one I know of is "Oh, God." Edit: "Mr. Mom," too?

Colman Domingo featured as a minor character in two November 2025 releases based on books (and not the first time said book was adapted), largely about a fascist state using media control to portray the protagonist as a dangerous evil lunatic, where the protagonist’s ultimate victory involved faking their death, and the reception to both movies was relatively lukewarm at best (Wicked Part 2 and The Running Man)
