For the record you should go, because while if you go there will still be trouble, if you stay it will be double (which is more trouble).

I wasn’t a fan. I really liked their early albums through London Calling (well maybe not Rope) but things got weird with Sandinista.

I hated the Clash for the longest time because the only songs they'd play was London Calling and should I stay or should I go and they were just annoying. And then I heard them play [Police on my back](https://youtu.be/0tCx11ITaiY?si=LuBPw7ZATF8dmd0D) at the pub one night and it was like a revelation and started listening to them. I kind of have to agree with you. Sandinista gets weird. There is so many better songs on London Calling that never get played.
