Could not get past the paywall to find out what the major change was

The ‘Major Change’ is that it’s being made by Netflix now and not Channel 4. All original cast reported to be interested. Nothing finalised. All a bit of a nothing story at the moment.

Original cast is just the lads or they include the parents and Greg Davies too, you reckon?

Greg was mentioned in the article as was Emily Atack, but it’s all pretty much conjecture at the moment.

Would be a forced cameo to put Greg Davies in it, there's no reason some teacher they had briefly twenty years ago would turn up in their lives.

Bit odd that channel four would pass it up.
I know that channels are cutting back but if anything is instantly bankable, it’s inbetweeners

Netflix probably threw $20mill at the creators and C4 said err, ok I guess we won’t be bidding then!

Time skip. They're going to jump ahead in the story - about a decade - and age the characters up.

Is it that all the actors have been replaced by their American equivalents?

quote from the article, from Joe Thomas:
>‘It’s a show about delusion. Simon is naïve and romantic and thinks that he’s going to have this love story and Will is pompous, he’s intellectually delusional. Neil’s obviously stupid and Jay’s clearly delusional. He thinks that he’s this kind of sex god when actually he’s just this very vulnerable young man.
>‘When you get older, your delusions fall away, you look at life as it is. It means you get into less stupid situations I suppose, also the challenges get bigger you can make larger mistakes when you get older.’

Sounds boring.
Assume it’ll be some kind of reunion / stag do. Everyone’s boring/hasnt moved on. They then find their joy and growth over the 4 day stag do.

Paul Ritter was in Friday Night Dinner, not Inbetweeners. Unless I’m missing an obvious joke…
