Everyone check for swamp leeches! Nobody else got hit?? I’m the only one?? One of my favorite movies of all time. Just so absurd and amazing.

one of my favorite things about this movie is that the soundtrack is a mix of mostly Bowie songs in sung in portuguese (covered by Seu Gorge)

[Seu Gorge recently made a live stream of his Bowie covers to honor the 10 year anniversary of Bowie's passing.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIaESzQ1X9w&list=PLwFVXF1yjF9Tv1Ybs9c-TuhvLmN-RSxQW&index=22)

I saw Seu Gorge live at Osheaga a few years after the release of this masterpiece. He was wearing his red hat and it made me soo happy.

Same. Saw him at a Lawrence, KS show. I think it was not too long after Bowie died. Really great show.

I was at that show. So good.

I was lucky enough to see him in NYC, probably on the same tour. I got to go backstage and saw Waris Ahluwalia chatting with Bill Murray. I was really tempted to shake their hands, but they were deep in a conversation, so I didn't interrupt. I did, however, get to meet Seu, who was very nice.

One of Wes Anderson’s most overlooked films IMO. Excellent cast, hilariously dry script, and killer soundtrack. What’s not to love?

It’s my personal favorite. It may not be his best film, but it’s the one I enjoy the most.

Same for me, personally my fav movie period. Something about it just strikes me deep down.

It's my favorite film of his. Willem Dafoe is so damn funny in it. My favorite scene is the rescue scene/shootout, Goldblum getting shot when he folds and then Murray blasting from the hallway, makes me howl with laughter every time. https://youtu.be/UqPY-OR0UKk?si=v0vf7w_FBaOKZOVR

If especially love the set they built to film the interior shots of the Belafonte.

One of my favorite college memories is me and the boys dressing up as team zissou for Halloween. I’ve definitely appreciated this movie even more as time has gone on. I do think this one has much stronger staying power for aging men than his more celebrated films.

If Wes had directed a BTS of this, something tells me that the framing device would have been that it was being made by the actor playing the unpaid intern. Loved the film, and love that this little snippet fits perfectly into the aesthetic and world of the film too.

But… it is being filmed by the unpaid internet actor from the film…

I’m not generally big on Wes Anderson movies (yes, burn the witch) but I absolutely adore this movie. There is no aspect that can be improved. From cast to script to effects to soundtrack, it is perfect.

My friends were obsessed with this movie in high school and to this day I still haven't seen it

Arguably, Wes Anderson's best imo.

I assume this is on the DVD. Feels almost impossible for a cinema snob like me to find c**** movies at thrift stores but they had this one.

They need a new abbreviation besides BTS every time im like what does this have to do with K Pop. I guess BS would be bad too…
