I recently started watching a comedy show on Hulu ("Reboot") and the color palette was so drab and brown and grey, with extremely dim and dull lighting. To the point where it's depressing to watch and therefore (as allegedly a comedy) completely unwatchable.
I have no real way to protest this extremely c**** and unskilled insult to my artistic sensibilities except to cancel Hulu, subscribe Apple+ (because I have this idea they use better lighting, though that's maybe wrong?) and make a listnook post about it. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
I did, too. Great cast, and I could always hear my mom saying, “I like that Paul Riser, he’s always good.”

I'm pretty sure every single show has a different lighting set up with a lighting team and a lighting director.
Why is Hulu taking shots?

When you watch Silo or Invasion and cancel Apple+ due to the dark lighting be sure to update us where you move next!

I was disappointed to learn this wasn't related to the 90s early cgi animated show Reboot.

Why are you cancelling your subscription to a service based on the end result of a studio/production choice?

Because they're an idiot.

You canceled you sunscription because a one season shows that was cancelled years ago had bad lightning?
As for Apple, firstly they don't make the majority of their shows and secondly its catalog can look equally as dull.
