Taylor Sheridan an evil genius for making a Hallmark style big city girl finds meaning in the country show.

Glad we weren't the only people who thought this. We thought we'd give the first episode a shot. I mean, why not? Scenery shots should be nice. At some point one of the daughters, the one going through a divorce, said something and the person I was watching with went, "It's a Hallmark show!" That seems to be the entire formula. City bad, country good. It's almost always in Sheridan shows, but at least in the first episode it was so hamfisted. Edit: Holy c***.. we made it to episode three tonight and wham.. >!in walks the "hunky" small town cop meet-cute for the divorced daughter. Her "big city ways" had him "Aww shucks"-ing all over himself.!< Definitely just a six part Hallmark movie. Also.. hornets.

For a guy that has written the caliber of some of his movies, he really doesn’t give a shit beyond marketing potential for good TV shows

I’ve never watched a Taylor Sheridan show. I am intrigued by this one because I really like Michelle Pfeiffer. I wonder how many others tuned in for her.

I did just for her. It should be a show about a woman dealing with the loss of her husband and getting to know him better after his death through what he left behind. If it just stuck to this, it would be a wonderful, heartfelt and emotional show. Instead, it just constantly shits on city dwellers and twists/misrepresents any form of tolerance or consideration for others. The city folk are just insane caricatures written way, way over the top. I tried to look past the right-wing nonsense, but it is laid on far too thick. If this is how right-wingers think, it explains a whole lot.

Cue the Listnook freakout about him. Clearly, people think differently in the real world than Listnook would have you believe.

This thing crushed heated rivalry numbers but you would never know that from this site
