Is he dead? What?
I don't get it - why is he rare? I mean like. There's only one of him. But. I feel like that's pretty common.

he's borderline retired from the business and barely accepts much work anymore

Nope lol Season 1 only finished in March, they already renewed for Season 2 in August 2025.
Clearly doing numbers (for better or for worse)

Season 2 was filmed at the same time as S1.

They didn’t film at the same time, S2 was filmed a year after S1. S1 filmed from Aug.-Dec. 2024 and S2 filmed from Sept.-Dec. 2025, and all of Kurt Russell’s and Matthew Fox’s scenes for S1 were filmed during the production of S2.

I guess Patrick Adams was mistaken when he said they filmed them at the same time.

Reportedly, all scenes with Kurt Russell and Matthew Fox for both seasons were filmed during Season 2 filming schedule, because of Kurt Russell's limited availability. He was busy with Monarch: Legacy Of Monsters.
When Michelle Pfeiffer was shooting her scenes, they weren't even 100% sure Kurt Russell would be available.

Haven’t seen it, but I appreciate when TV shows are given this kind of security moving forward.
I’ve grown tired of a new season not being announced until after the last one airs. And then having to wait years for it to come out.
Knowing that a season 3 is locked in before season 2 has aired is a good thing. More shows should do it

It's even better in this case. Season 2 is already filmed.

I recommend you do. It's so good we'll I should qualify that Michelle P was so good I was really moved and crying when she cried it was a tear jerker and I like when shows movies can make me feel what they are acting out. And Kurt R was just so good too I'm a fan looking forward to more episodes.

I didn't even know there was going to be a season 2, I figured it'd be a miniseries because of the plot... I hope they don't drag it out though. It's clearly meant to be she moves to Montana and her oldest daughter moves as well to be with the good looking sheriff guy lol

Not sure how I feel about this. Two more seasons of Kurt Russel flashbacks. Imagine how many more crying scenes.

This show is a high dose of boomer, younger generation and city folk suck type of stuff which is common for Sheridan but it loves Montana scenery as much as the early seasons of Yellowstone did which is a plus for me.

It's a pretty good show to get high and turn your brain off to.

I assume most of the type of people who watch already have reduced brain function. They post corny memes about the shows on fb and think they’re badass. So cringe. Right next to their orange Jesus posts.

I was under the impression that Kurt Russels character died in the first episode of the show. Did I mishear that?
