A better description is that many Americans are just sick and tired of corruption of crony politics, along with federal agents being used as a force to suppress political opposition.

Funny how when it's not a right wing pro MAGA march, you don't see any Confederate flags or Nazi flags, or any hate symbols of race supremacy, in any of the pictures. Weird...

Trump needs to be locked away for the rest of his inside a solitary confinement cell! He has done nothing but ruin the life's of millions and millions of U.S. citizens, sink the American economy into turmoil, send away military soldiers to get killed in a meaningless war that should've never been started to begin with, and steal from us and the government for his personal greed! (just to name a small portion of his problematic actions, not including his involvement with Jeffrey Epstein and his sex trafficking ring).
All just for him and his billionaire friends!

I would strip him of everything he has and then offer him to Iran as a peace offering, tbh

But instead Americans put him into the white house and in charge of their country. Twice.

I’d caveat that Elon put him there. I’m not even talking about the idea that he rigged voting machines. He used twitter, his influence, connections, and his money to ensure it would happen.
No other Western election system allows for such massive influence and corruption.
The echo chamber alone that he’s created on twitter can’t be understated.
1
TemporarySun314Mar 29, 2026

But Americans allowed him to do that.
That no other western election system allows that much influence is not some god given fact, but the result of the peoples decisions...

uh, both Musk and Vance were pushing extreme right agenda in European elections. IN EUROPE.
1
Imaginaryreality5304Mar 29, 2026
+1
Thank you, exactly!!
And it’s had a measurable impact on European political discourse by amplifying far right visibility and creating a new "transatlantic" populist alliance. Hence the escalation of fascist ideologies in Europe.
The AfD is another great example of this when it comes to Musk and his Twitter influence. After Musk endorsed the AfD in December ‘24, collective views for posts by AfD politicians increased 8 fold, increasing from 17k to over 145k per week. That kind of platform and reach has real consequences.

Well, I have also heard that his attitude has turned European voters \*away\* from the extreme right because he is so obnoxious and has hurt Europe's economy with his little tantrums.

I wish that were true.
Unfortunately support for the AfD is currently on the rise. It’s reached record breaking levels of support, both in national polling and recent state elections as of current time. Their support has actually doubled in a few recent state elections.
The party actually distanced itself from Musk because they felt him and the MAGA brand hurt their image/support. Apparently their calculations were correct….
Funny enough, we moved to Germany after Trump was elected. It’s beyond belief to see the same thing happening here all over again. I’ll never understand how people can witness what’s happening and the results it produces, then decide “yeah, let’s do that too.”

Yes I do understand that, but unless you actually live in the US it’s very hard to understand what it’s like. Especially when it comes to elections.
There are so many different issues when it comes to voting access alone. The GOP has spent years obstructing voter access. Mail in voting is a great example of that, they’ve tried everything in their power to obstruct it in many states.
Then you have the fact that voting takes place on a Tuesday when most people work. So elderly retirees have an advantage there and they historically vote far more conservative.
In red states and Republican controlled districts, they’ve closed a lot of election offices which obstructs access for many, especially in rural areas.
So the voting lines have become longer and longer. Most people can’t afford to take off of work and wait several hours in line to vote. Which is a common occurrence in Texas.
Studies have shown that voters in high population, low income, or high minority districts often face longer waits. In some instances, districts with 90% or more nonwhite populations saw average wait times of 4-7 hours. All of this is by design.
So why do you think we have the outcomes we do? It’s no where near as simple as people make it out to be.

It’s funny, the conservative sub are now censoring most of the comment sections, and the ones that are visible are criticising donald trump.

That whole sub is a cesspool of orange d*** lickers.
It's thread after nested thread of deleted comments. What remains from the lucky few who are allowed to post there, are very tame criticisms "well Trump is a great man and fantastic president, BUT he really should focus on the economy".
The whole sube deserves to be trolled at this point.

I think that sublistnook is rife with bot activity and a lot of the hidden or removed replies are by bots. Which is why the reply sections look the way they do. Plus the insane over moderation. It’s such an echo chamber of red pilled right wing nonsense.

Largest protest in American history happens and the media goes “look how divided everyone is!” All I saw yesterday when I went to the protest was unity and decency. F*** the fascist billionaire owned media!

This is not by accident. Roger Ailes and Satan are merrily toasting the death of America!
A man directs his staff to put out Stochastic Terrorist Calls for almost 2 years, assembles a Lone Wolf Army that attacks the USA in an act of war to prevent the peaceful transfer of power after a fair and free election. This man directed his staff to LIE about the elections results to change the results of the election.
His rotting corpse should still be on display along with his accomplices. Instead, he is helping kill Americans and American Democracy. This man is now instrumental in the destruction of American Democracy.
Rupert Murdoch, Lachlan Murdoch, Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Maria Bartiromo, Jeanine Pirro, and Lou Dobbs need to face JUSTICE!

Did you know there's a segment of the population that "identifies as rural" even though they aren't?
They aren't country folk moving to the city. They are lifelong suburban residents who never worked in agriculture who self-identify as rural.
They self-identify as rural so hard that they actually have the same adverse health outcomes as actual rural people.
These people are maga.
