Oh, that's sad to hear. I really liked her character. On the other hand, I love Dr. Ellis, so I'm glad to see more of her next season. I guess with a show like this, it's incredibly easy narratively to switch cast members in and out.

Makes sense based on the character giving up on being an emergency room physician and likely will go into geriatrics.
