I am glad she's able to secure this role, according to this article, her filming schedule on this series won't interfere with her filming schedule on the Pitt. Shailene Woodley performance on Paradise was one of the highlights of the season 2.

It is not a prestige tv but it's very entertaining and IMO, very good, writing is fine for the most parts, the performance from the cast were great. IMO, season 2 writing's is more consistent compared to season 1.

I think "very" is subjective but safe to say most would agree it's at least good. Things about it some might love. But those same things others might find annoying. Some people might be so annoyed with a character that it takes away from the show, others might not care. Overall I'd rate it recommend. It's a murder mystery meets sci-fi meets post-apocalypse. It kind of reminded me of Silo a little bit, the back in time part of the story the next season is going to be about.

Yeah for the longest time I knew her more as Dennis Hopper's much-younger ex-wife than her actual body of work. I think The Pitt really put her on the map in terms of how good she is as an actress

For what it's worth, I recently rewatched an episode of House, and noticed it was her there as mother of a patient. Horrible acting, but she was 20y younger and SO HOT (I still find her hot un the pitt tbh. I'm in my 30's).

I was watching The Pitt and it occurred to me that i'd never seen Katherine LaNasa in anything else so i ducked off to IMDB to see what she had been in. I was thinking to myself, she is way too talented to not have been in anything i've watched before.

Her last couple of episodes on The Pitt were phenomenal. She gets all the awards this season. I also use her voice/accent as an inner monologue sometimes… it just lives there. Rent free.

She isn't using a Pittsburgh Yinzer accent, I can tell you that at least. Hers is more like a mishmash of Ohio Valley and general Pennsylvania/north Appalachia accents.

I didn't really know who Katherine was until I saw her in Imposters. (Mediocre show but she was really good in it). And in The Pitt - she's phenomenal. I'll watch Count My Lies just for her.
