I mean it sounds like no one lied really. As far as I can tell, the mom’s story is likely true. A guy from security came up and told them not to approach the talent which upset her daughter. The only issue is that since the daughter got up to look at Chappell and then they were reprimanded, the mom assumed that the security guard was Chappells. Which is honestly an assumption that makes sense. This guy is saying he was working for someone else, saw the kid get up and look at Chappell, and decided to go to their table to tell them not to do that despite not working for Chappell at all. He did her a freebie that Chappell didn’t ask for or even know about until it blew up online. But I doubt he told the mom in the moment that he didn’t work for Chappell, he worked for someone else who may or may not have even been there at the moment. Honestly it’s a weird as hell situation. I can see why the mom thought it was Chappell’s security team since she likely identified that he wasn’t with the hotel. But it’s an assumption most people would have made considering her daughter had gone to look at Chappell and then security approached. Chappell deserves an apology, but frankly the real take away is this guy is shit at security. And considering he’s the guard who was supposed to be protecting Kim K when she was tied up and robbed of all her jewelry I think it’s safe to say that he is indeed pretty shit at his job.

Not trying to be a contrarian, but why are you choosing to believe Roan over the mother? You do know people can lie? And while I understand that can be applied to the mother, it also can equally be applied to Roan.

I think he’s saying he was a contractor. Not someone who worked for roan full time. And he’s trying to take credit for the fuckup. And if this was in Brazil if I remember correctly security has to be way way way more uptight. The security situation there is bad. Lots of people probably try to gather intel on rich foreigners for the gangs so they can rob them or take them hostage.

Have any of the people claiming this doesn't add up been in public before? - A child was inadvertantly acting inappropriately in a luxury resort trying to catch a glimpse of Chappell Roan. - A security guard told the stepmom that this is a luxury resort so the kid can't be wandering around unattended. - Mom threw a fit because she's entitled and blamed the wrong person because she made stupid assumptions. Then stoked the flame for clout. I deal with parents like this every time I go to my city's zoo or children's museum. The only difference is the kids whose behavior I have to correct aren't related to Jude Law.
