The 2020 album was their best in over a decade, I really hope there is more to come. But honestly that last Voids album does worry me, I don't what the endless vocal effects to come to a Strokes album.

i doubt that any new strokes will use much vocal effects, julian seems to play with that largely with the voidz’s material.

The entire first album sounds like it's being sung under layers of gauze inside of a fat man's a******

A valid concern, given recent trends.

I think the New Abnormal is their best album period. The Rick Rubin production brought their sound to a whole new level.

I’m a biggggg strokes Stan. I even liked Angles. But man, none of the Voidz stuff has been enjoyable and I like some horse shit, avant-garde music.

The 2020 was their worst one by far

Horrendous take. Best album since Is This It. No skips.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they drop new songs on their upcoming tour.

At first, I misread "The Strokes" as "The Smiths", and I was like, "What the Hell?".

This period of NYC produced some of my all time fav bands and albums that I still go see to this day but The Strokes never really clicked. Went to a festival they headlined a few years back and it was abysmal mess. Meanwhile the TV On The Radio reunion? No notes.

While I like The Strokes, I never got the whole “saviors of rock” monicker that was attributed to them. They are very catchy but their music was pretty straight forward. Not to mention Rock was still really big at that point. Nu Metal bands like Korn and Linkin Park were still super popular, and even more alt rock bands like Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, and Red Hot Chili Peppers were still releasing extremely popular music during that time.
