It’s hard to Prove what’s lawful and unlawful in military court while the President of the United States and secretary of defense along with all of their many supporters in the military say it is and little you says it isn’t; especially after they have purged entire offices of accountability, dozens of lawyers, retired many different levels of officers etc. Countless countries have existed in the world which should show people that no nations military are immune to breaking the law. The United States CAN be great, but only if the people at the extreme top of the hierarchy advocate for it and allow it. When you can pardon anyone and everyone you want while making life hell for anyone who resists you, 99.99% of people will choose the option of Least resistance. The military are indoctrinated to follow orders and not to be political. They don’t conduct drills on how to recognize and react with national honor to unlawful orders. People that snitch are ostracized and their military careers are generally finished.

If it’s not the worst case, then the negative news cycle and corrupt Supreme Court precedents will make a younger, bolder leader in the future who will make the worst case happen. Like Marius and Sulla heralded in Pompey, Crassus, Caesar and then Augustus and Antony. There’s something called the Polybius anacyclosis theory on the cycle government goes through. The Six Stages of Anacyclosis: 1) Monarchy: A virtuous, strong leader emerges to bring order. 2) Kingship (Good Monarchy): The virtuous monarch leads for the public good. 3) Tyranny: Kingship degenerates, becoming corrupt and oppressive. 4) Aristocracy: Nobles overthrow the tyrant, establishing a merit-based rule. 5) Oligarchy: The aristocracy becomes greedy and corrupt, focusing on wealth over virtue. 6) Democracy: The people revolt against the oligarchs to establish rule by the majority. 7) Ochlocracy (Mob Rule): Democracy dissolves into chaotic, irresponsible mob rule, creating the chaos that leads to a new strong leader. It’s not perfectly accurate and linear, but has been scarily predictive.

The question now is just whether he is dumb enough to keep going. Iran's negotiating position is much stronger now that it was a month ago. In another month Trump will be begging them for a deal.

The war was orchestrated by Israel. They have compromised the US gov't. Make no mistake--it was a deliberate and methodical act on their part. Simply characterizing it as "dumb" misses just how pernicious their influence in the U.S. has become. The series of decapitation strikes were also designed with only one thing in mind: to start a protracted religious war that would make any subsequent negotiation/compromise difficult, if not impossible.

War is pretty stupid in general. People with power who don't know how to handle it will resort to war and violence, that's basically the gist of it. It's the same way we have idiots who drink and drive, we have idiots who start wars. It's just that most people don't actually have that sort of power. But it's the same kind of idiot.

I wish it was just dumb as hell. A girls school was blown up. Over a hundred girls died because of some pedophile trying to avoid justice. This war is disgusting. It is wrong. Everyone involved with starting it deserves prison for the rest of their lives.

See Don, war is actually a science now, actually has been for some time now. Highly academic, lotta math and words. And History, an awful lot of that. It’s how we avoid blunders while maintaining sovereignty with respect for other sovereigns acting with accepted rules……..zzzzzzzzzzzz
