> Gillum was located by Okaloosa County deputies, but officials said he did not present any grounds for criminal charges or involuntary commitment. During the encounter, Gillum allegedly told officers he planned to drive to New Orleans on Thursday morning. > Family members told law enforcement that Gillum had a Glock handgun with him and had recently expressed the threats to harm people, according to the bulletin. > OCSO later arrested Giillum at a Destin hotel, finding him with a handgun and 200 rounds of ammunition. This was after the bulletin? They just let him leave? Thank f*** it worked out this time because they arrested him later, but you'd think the same legal justification could've been used to do it earlier.

> Thank f*** it worked out this time because they arrested him later, but you'd think the same legal justification could've been used to do it earlier. The bulletin was just looking for a missing person that might potentially self harm. They only found out about the Glock and ammo after the cops found him and he told them he's just going to New Orleans, it seems like the family told them after that initial encounter.

I hope some defense attorneys are looking into previous cases he was involved with. I thinks it's safe to say he didn't just decide he didn't like black people.

Think that's more of a CYA for the departments. They can say they didn't see any signs of him doing anything like that

Imagine how racist you have to be to not be able to fulfil your racist ambitions as a cop.

I'm starting to see one too, how many if these cops and ex cops who get busted have these fat heads which makes me think they're on gear (steroids, human growth hormone, etc.). Used to see it all the freaking time at the gym, and everyone who did it turned into dicks or rage monsters.

So glad there are those in law enforcement who are doing their work to counteract the hate and prejudice our country's people still carry.

The guy wasn't from Louisiana, and he didn't make it to Louisiana, so we're just fine. Hopefully no other crazed tourists cause issues at Jazz Fest.

I wonder if this has something to do with the current shooting at a Baton Rouge mall.
