I mean that has been true since the inception of America.  There have always been suffering Americans and Congress members have taken paid vacations. Like Ted Cruz isn’t an outlier.

While true, that still doesn't excuse Ted for doing it, or Lindsey Graham pushing for war on Iran for over 20 years and then going to Disneyworld immediately after it starts. We didn't let Pam Bondi use the excuse for why the Epstein Files were held back from release with previous DoJ heads, so we're not going to let Ted off the hook either for vacationing during a shutdown...ESPECIALLY since Ted has other similar situations that affected his constituents specifically while he fucked off.

If it makes a buck, TMZ is all in. You can say the same for most news outlets, but at least TMZ doesn’t try to hide it.
