Top gun 4: drone warfare. Tom cruise doesn't even appear, it's just his voice played over an autonomous drone doing cool shit

One thing we can trust is that Cruise, love him or hate him, would never let that happen.

True. I feel like I read this is the end. But prob not

Nah, they'll just install a drone command center at his retirement home. Only one man alive has seen a MIG-28 do a 4G negative dive. He'll just be blowing up targets across Iran while chasing septuagenarian tail.

Septuagenarian tail sounds like my kinda b****

Maybe they can add the son of the guy who spilled coffee on himself this time?

Electronic_Lie79 Apr 16, 2026 +3
I thought it was just one guy who was a son of a previous character? Was that too much?

Why not... Top Gun 3 the quest for  Money....premise they do a airplane heist so some terror cell doesn't get the cold crypto wallet

We need you to fly through this blockade and blow up the bombs before your f14 gets shutdown.

It better have Goose and IceMan Force ghosts, like star wars

poliosaurus3000 Apr 16, 2026 +7
Isn’t there an age limit for fighter pilots?
7
CtrlAltEvil Apr 17, 2026 +2
Not for ‘Top Gun’ certified pilots apparently.

Have to admit, sequel worked out for me! Good stuff! Tricky to come up with a good story imo but I really liked it.

Curleysound Apr 17, 2026 +4
That’s because it was Star Wars with jets

SatisfactionOld4175 Apr 17, 2026 +2
Considering Star Wars manages to fall down on doing Star Wars, managing to do Star Wars with jets deserves at least a little bit of credit

legendkiller595 Apr 16, 2026 +7
Honestly 1 and 2 are so good, I’m in

Gdog1215 Apr 16, 2026 +2
Imagine in this one Maverick gets shot down over Iran

Smh hollywood needs new executives with bright ideas and risk takers

Yaayy more propaganda!

NecessaryDimension34 Apr 16, 2026 +2
Seems Tom would be too old to be a fighter pilot, but hey it's Hollywood. Hell, I would too old to fly a commercial airplane.

Damn! Talk about beating a dead horse.

WaySavvyD Apr 16, 2026 +2
The first two were nothing more than mindless fluff and advertising for the Navy; horrible movies both!

I don't think he contractually requested to sprint in it

Can we get some new f****** IP please?

I didn't like 2 but it made such an insane amount of money, 3 was never in question.

FlounderKind8267 Apr 16, 2026 +1
It's probably going to be bad because they won't be able to copy 95% of the previous movie like Top Gun 2 did

CharlieKellyKapowski Apr 16, 2026 +3
This time Goose’s grandson plays piano!

> Tom Cruise will be back once again for “Top Gun 3,” Paramount announced during its CinemaCon presentation in Las Vegas, as is producer Jerry Bruckheimer.

There better be a goddamn tunnel run in this one
1
Middle_Aged_Mayhem Apr 16, 2026 +1
Maybe they'll use A.I. Val Kilmer in it.

undermind84 Apr 16, 2026 +1
This will be a true test for Paramount. I believe Ellison is a studio killer/box office poison. People are pretty upset about the wb/paramount merger. I think this movie will still be a hit, but I really doubt it will be the 1.5 billion dollar behemoth that part 2 was.

Mind_Enigma Apr 16, 2026
In this one all the camera shots will avoid showing enemy planes at all, just in case, so no other country where the movie is shown even thinks the enemy could be them.

Yep. Another "Top Gun" sequel is on the way with Tom Cruise just obviously getting right back on board for it, ladies and gentlemen. Of course more info regarding the upcoming sequel will come our way at a later date SOOOOOOO we shall just keep an eye out for it.

I think this is maybe the most useless comment I’ve ever seen.

MrEHam Apr 16, 2026 +3
I don’t know about most useless but certainly the most dressed up useless comment.
