He should have just moved down to Mexico after he was first released - his family could have relocated to a border state and just had a bridge to cross to visit him. Now it’s going to be a f****** ocean apart. I know a family that had to do that - narrowly escaped ICE and escaped to Mexico to avoid being incarcerated in some terrible cold ass facility. They hired a good lawyer - and have appealed a seat belt infraction that was never dropped by a court - so they issued a warrant for them. It was the courts fault, and they’re in the final stages of having those orders reversed.

This is exactly it. They can’t be seen as losing under any circumstance. So if they lose they try again, change the goal post or say it wasn’t that important.
The issue with this particular case is they can’t say it wasn’t that important after all the effort they put in already. There is no way to move the goal post either, so the only thing left is to keep trying things until something works.

This whole article reads like c**** propaganda from ABC. Every sentence is filled with ifs and when's.
As of now he's here and the order restricting his reincarceration has not been prorogued by a judge. The administration wants that order dissolved. It likely will not prevail in its request.
5
MicrotracS3500Mar 23, 2026

>Every sentence is filled with ifs and when's.
There's two "if"s that are not in a direct quote, one of which is about a judge protecting his safety, and literally not a single "when". What the actual f*** are you talking about? Are you hallucinating right now?
>Although Abrego Garcia has said he's willing to be sent to Costa Rica, Acting Immigrations and Customs Enforcement Director Todd Lyons said in a memo filed in court that he has "decided to disregard" that request and **intends to send him to Liberia if Abrego Garcia is ordered removed from the U.S**
>In part, Lyons said Abrego Garcia initially had designated his home country of El Salvador as his chosen place to be sent during his initial removal proceedings in 2019 before a judge barred his deportation finding that **his life could be at risk if he were to return there**.
Genuinely, what is wrong with your head that you think this is "propaganda"?
