He's scared. His house of cards is coming down all around him.
SCOTUS already took out the main pillar of his economic agenda (Liberation Day tariffs) and appears poised to take out this pillar of his immigration agenda.
At this point in his first term, he was -12 in approval and the US House flipped. Currently, he is at -20 in approval.
He had to start an illegal war in Iran to drown out the news about the Epstein Files; yet betrayed a core campaign promise to his own voter base in the process.
Senate Majority Leader Thune is showing no interest in using the nuclear option to eliminate the filibuster, meaning that the GOP's election suppression bill (SAVE Act) is DOA.
He's becoming increasingly desperate.

>President Trump became the first sitting president to attend oral arguments at the U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday, when he showed up to watch proceedings in a case challenging one of his executive orders.
>Trump's motorcade arrived at the court just before 10 a.m. ET, as reflected on his public schedule for the day. He disappeared into a relative black box, as the Supreme Court strictly prohibits cameras and other electronic devices.
>His motorcade departed around 11:20 a.m., as Solicitor General D. John Sauer wrapped up his opening argument in favor of the administration and the American Civil Liberties Union prepared to make its opposing case.

He showed up to make sure the Solicitor General spewed all the racist, nonsense, bullshit arguments Trump thinks are slamming dunks instead of presenting an actual, reality based argument (which doesn't exist).
Then he got bored when he realized today's proceedings weren't going to be all about how great and awesome he is, so he left.

The Secret Service was alerted to a "Code Brown" and unfortunately they don't have adult diaper changing stations in the Supreme Court.

But then ...
* [Humiliated Trump Storms Out of Catastrophic SCOTUS Hearing](https://www.thedailybeast.com/humiliated-trump-storms-out-of-catastrophic-scotus-hearing/)
It's part of a puzzle that makes me wonder ... is it 1958 again?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1958_United_States_elections
> Elections were held on November 4, 1958, and elected members of the 86th United States Congress. The election took place in the middle of Republican President Dwight D. Eisenhower's second term. Eisenhower's party suffered large losses. They lost 48 seats to the Democratic Party in the House of Representatives, and also lost thirteen seats in the U.S. Senate to the Democrats.[2] This marked the first time that the six-year itch phenomenon occurred during a Republican presidency since Ulysses S. Grant's second term in 1874. Alaska and Hawaii were admitted as states during the 86th Congress.
Gives me a warm fuzzy feeling to know that such things are possible.

You can just look at the 2010 and 2014 midterms under Obama. And things were actually good then!

I see their headlines and assume the complete opposite now. It's the exact same shit that far right media does and people go after them for it, but the daily beast is not criticized enough for it.
They are also just trying to make the divides bigger.
Anyways, I assume he left early and that is about it.

Personally, I think it's a shame he's the first. An actually presidential president, attending to watch, listen, and learn, with the full respect for the co-equal branch of the government, would be a good example for the people.
Unfortunately, he was not there to do that.
